And what is a sin? Why do you mention Bible? Christianity is just one of many religions and in many of them the understanding of a sin is different.
Personally, I don't care if it is a sin or not, because i'm not religious. If you truly follow your religion, you should speak to one of your priests and find out what are his views on gambling.

If you embrace the religion, then you cant take away religion in any case, including in gambling. If you are a believer, then you must obey the religion. As human we did a lot of gamble, gamble is not all about betting money and stuff, it is also putting risks, so when we do something, putting our lives, put house, pur properties that is gamble. If you used religion as basis for putting gambling as a sin then don't gamble at all. Because there is always the feeling of guilt inside of you every time you gamble. And the worst case is, if the pastor or the church found out that you are gambling, then they will thrown or kick you out of the church.
