It can be not possible this year, as you can see you see that the value now indeed is rising slowly and that is not that bad but many people think that it will not be high after the value.
And that can be bad because many people hopes that the value will be more in the future.

Yeah people are getting their hopes up for the future. The price is finally rising a bit and that is a good thing but I do not think that we are going to reach $800. |

i think it is possible for the price to go above 800, this year could be the best year of last 2 years for bitcoin
based on what, you think Bitcoin can grow over $800 this year? Or is it pure wishful thinking? No, nowadays and at least at this forum it is not a wishful think of someone, here a number of people are well expert in bitcoin and they know well that what can happen, and so the newbies also talk the same which they hear from the experts. |

Yeah people are getting their hopes up for the future. The price is finally rising a bit and that is a good thing but I do not think that we are going to reach $800. If everything goes fine at halving then we will see that price at the end of the year, and majority of the people thinks that the price will also cross to $1k mark. |

I am of the opinion that price will rise, how much and when nobody knows. Bitcoin is a volatile asset, so people need to be aware of that.
I like idea that bitcoin represent and cause of that I think btc price can only go up in long term. Daily ups and downs are just cause btc is still young.
Just because it something has happened in the past does not mean that it will happen again in the future so with upcoming halving I think we will see a small rise, but until the end of the year I think we can come close to that 800 $.

i think that bitcoin price surely might rise to 800 dollars this year or even more because there are no limitations right now when people will start buying their bitcoins really fast
halving will attract more investors that will be willing to put in their money in order to make more after some time, i hope that the price will be pushed to at least a new all time high

Nothing is impossible, it needs time until Bitcoin price reaches $800 but I hope that this year yeah it should reach $800 at least in December, i don't expect this price during the halving period.

I think it will be the halving because that one is pretty sweet for all of us and a lot of people said that too.

Which threads? Nowadays the influx of freshly created threads is probably on its all time low in this forum section.... And beside that, most smart people have already bought their coins and are now waiting for the price to finally start showing some signs of life. |

Yeah one reason for price rise can be the growth of bitcoin, the main reason behind this is halving and due to this price is going to hit above $800. From some bored days we have seen a good price rise, people were very fast in buying coins as halving is near. |

It is only possible if the value will rise in the future after the halving and if it is not than it wont be possible because it is now not even rising and it keeps stable for a long time.
It need a longer time if you want to reach that high value so we have to all wait for it.

Thinking it will reach more is not wishfull thinking it is naive thinking... Not going to happen.. Just think about the year of 2013, do you know from where the price reached to $1200 within a few months, then why it is not possible in 2016 when now there are a lot of supporters and the adoption rate is much high. |
