Can bitcoin rise up to 800$ this year ?

I think we have to expect for the price of bitcoin that it will reach to $800 in this year as with that passage of time we will see more people will know about bitcoin and will join it

that would be really great in my opinion though the price might also fall and you shouldnt forget that for sure, i hope bitcoin will grow to at least 800 dollars

It may be true that could affect but there are other factors that affect the price of bitcoin. As the increase in people using bitcoin, and bitcoin adoption increases, it will make bitcoin price increases.

why you would be surprised about it? i can safely say that bitcoin price might reach even bigger heights this year, i think that we will see a new all time high by the very end of 2016

yes i am also agree with i think that the price of bitcoin will easily cross the 1200$ level at the end of this year. you can see that people are not interested to sell their bitcoin and holding it for the price increase and that is the reason that the price price of bitcoin is so stable revolving around 600+.

of course bitcoin can grow to really huge heights this year because previously the halving happened so the price might be pumped]

in order to reach $8000 there should be massive number of new investors that start buying bitcoin which is why i say it is not going to happen "this year", because as far as i am aware there is nothing going on that can cause this much buy pressure that can push the price that high.

It will be fair if price increases to $700 next month, then an increase by $100 each month and at the end of the year it will be near $1k.

I think chance is small that it can reach to that high because it was already stable for a long time so there must something happen that it can jump but that will not happen.
We have to wait a longer time to reach that value it will for sure reach that high next year.

Once the halving process is done, you will see a difference in price, maybe that's after a month but we don't know because halving result will not quickly kick in for a week it will be feel month after the event.

We can not be sure though now a stable price, but maybe at the end of the year could rise to $ 800 figure that could happen. Bitcoin prices is very difficult to predict because it continues to fluctuate.

Sad? It simply shows how unrealistic they were. It is very easy to pump the expectations, and it happens again and again in this forum, every time the price adds $20-30 on a day.

What would keep the stable $100 per month increase?
Bitcoin doesn't work like that. It is about pumping and dumping, as simple as that.
We already had a solid pump this year, now it is time to reduce the price a little bit more, before the next pump.
I expect the price to go down, not excluding $500 handle, before resuming any rise. Prepare for a longer wait.

It can really easy go to 800$ but i i am sure that it will go more than 1000$ this year maybe 1200$ lso i think that it wil be 1000-1200$.
