Low chances IMO, the ath moment was days before the halving.
If it will happen again this year, who knows
thats not low chances at all, i think that the price is going to grow from now on only and make us all some good money, i think it is possible in like a month only |

It could happen. As long the demand of bitcojn is high we will see the 800$ mark or even up this year.
Halving will definitely make an impact to reach that price.

It could happen. As long the demand of bitcojn is high we will see the 800$ mark or even up this year.
Halving will definitely make an impact to reach that price.
of course it is possible that this will happen, i think that the price of bitcoin might reach even bigger heights because people will be buying it fast |

It can really easy go to 800$ but i i am sure that it will go more than 1000$ this year maybe 1200$ lso i think that it wil be 1000-1200$.
Being realistic, I don't see $1k this year. I guess $800 would be already a great achievement. But let's first see how low we go, once a post-halving correction starts. |

$800 is not that bad of a prediction for this year. I personally think the highest price this year will be $800-$850 but definitely not higher than that. |

Yes, I was one of these 'realists' who were seeing $600 as the absolute top for this year, as the year has started. And, yes I was positively surprised that we overshot my prediction. now having said that, I don't see the reason why we should overshoot again. Whereas you can't completely rule it out, it would be quite unlikely to have two huge pumps in one year. Remember where we started the year. Having the price tripled on a stable basis would be really surprising, taking into account that there are no fundamental reasons for such price. |

Reaching to $700 is not hard , it will reach to $700 in the coming month and after that we can expect that the price of bitcoin will continue to increase to $800 or more than that, just wait for the buyers to come to buy at larger scale then you will see that how faster the price of bitcoin increases. |

Reaching to $700 is not hard , it will reach to $700 in the coming month and after that we can expect that the price of bitcoin will continue to increase to $800 or more than that, just wait for the buyers to come to buy at larger scale then you will see that how faster the price of bitcoin increases. There is a lot of resistence currently So i would say 700 in fact is quite hard. If we can hold on to 700. I am sure it is a strong sign for an uptrend coming, if not the price will probably go down or stay around 650 |

There was a run up prior to the halving and we are in consolidation mode now. But there is still time for another bull run this year.  |

i think yes . the price can jump to 800$ per btc beacuse of the effect of halving .
beacuse halving leaves its effect even after the one to two month .
so i think price will jump .
since there is chance to fall also . fall of prices in these days we can see easily which provea yours prediction wrong .
but increase in bitcoinc can be any time .
actually i am waiting for the down of the rated of bitcoins . because i want purchase some bitcoins for future profit .
after that i hope the rate will grow upto 800$ per btc .

yes i think so, hope that very soon the price of bitcoin will raise to 800$ very soon. as in present time the price of bitcoin is falling down continuously for last 3 days, and the price fall down below 500$ but hope that it will be a false fall down and very soon the market will recover, it is expected that the price of bitcoin cross 800$ dollar very easily and may be reach to 1200 USD level. so just try to hold your bitcoin and not to sell it and those who have no bitcoin they should buy new bitcoin because the price is going to raise again.

To be fair this question was posed at the very beginning of the year, so it was a fair question back then.. However after the price drop this week it's probably out of the question for bitcoin to rise above 800 again because 2017. We've been surprised by price before, but unless something dramatic happens I'd say we're lucky to pop back up to $600 before 2017

no guarantees when it comes to bitcoin. if you make yourself think the price will 100% sure to hit certain price levels, then you end up disappointing yourself.
I don't consider the current price to be a cheap level to enter the market. cheap levels where when the price was sailing below the $400 price level for quite some time.

yes that is right but still the price of bitcoin is going see more high lever of this year, it is also possible that this year the price of bitcoin will even see the all time high level of bitcoin history, so i can suggest to my friends that the presnt price of bitcoin is too good to buy it and then to hold them for the price increase. |
