i saw the mined coins in ledger. but they are not added in account balance.

If the transaction is not accepted by the network, it will never be confirmed by the network.

I presume you are looking at a PoS reward. This happens when 2 nodes submit a PoS block at the same time. Both can not be accepted by the network, one must be rejected. You did not lose anything as your next reward will have compensated for this time.

I get very few "orphans" while staking BERN (1 every few days) I'm working towards some new computer parts so I can start mining.

I've been told a slow internet connection can equal more orphans

We see this from a different angle friend. Bern Wallet has 2 functions and I really liked it,

The first, with Bern Wallet can I get PoS
and the second: with Bern Wallet. I could learn to get a POW, to see the power of my pc. usually, I hire a rig to mine. of course I'm going to stop mining the wallet if it hurt me.

I like it, because I could run a post and pow simultaneously.

This is pool mining, in fact, easy pool mining. No registration, just click 'Start Mining'.

You are correct in one thing, solo mining with CPU only will almost never yield results with net hash as high as it is. But I made pool mining in the BERN wallet just as easy as solo mining is in many other wallets. Perhaps that is the source of your confusion.

I am a big proponent of public acceptance of crypto. Making mining, and yes pool mining, as easy as a click of one button was and is my attempt at lowering the learning curve and making entry easier. I do know my efforts have saved more then a few people sleepless nights of learning how to mine and configuring software to mine. The BERN wallet does it for you. Easy.
