Here is the screenshot of the transaction. The wallet address was also as given by Poloniex.

I have never had this ever before. What can explain this? Where are the coins!

Ah, this is not a Poloniex problem - the coins never arrived there.
You send your BTC with a very low fee. Search this forum for " unconfirmed transaction " and you will find many similar problems.

When you don't do anything, there are a few options:
- this transactions fails, money is returned
- depending on your wallet it is possible that this transaction is transferred again and again, in that case you have to stop the transaction. Because it's not visible in blockchain anymore (follow the link you posted earlier), I guess this isn't the case
- some miners picks it up and confirms the payment finally

Maybe you could refresh your wallet and see if the money already returned. If not: search the forum for "uncorfimed transaction"; there is a lot of information in those threads.

But: Poloniex isn't at fault here, they simply never received anything.

Thank you bro.

That was really helpful.

Yes I guess I had to set a higher reward.

I see more and more unconfirmed transactions with every week passing by.

Is this "Scaling" problem that's rumored to fork Bitcoin into two separate currencies?

.P.S.: Although I got in here at 2013, I didn't get back here until 2017 - missed out big time Sad

The scaling problem was/is because the blocks are still 1 Mb.
Simplification: there were 2 camps, 1st was bitcoin core which wanted to install segwit, and the 2nd was bitcoin unlimited who wanted increasing blocksize.
Segwit needed 95% before they could start, BU needed only 51% but then there was a hard fork, so two different currencies.

Fortunately a few days ago both parties agreed: segwit will start at 80% (or so) and immediately after that the blocksize will be 2 Mb. They want to implement this before or around september. In this case there is first a soft form (segwit) then a hard fork (blocksize), only in this case the leftover-currency will get no support, so I guess most miners/pools will go with this.

Does anyone know the currrent responce times for poloniex support to respond? I know there are delays but I have been wait iver 7 days now. The issue I have is that I transfered in 1.07 ETH and it has not shown on my balance or not even in the history. The tx hash is:

So i sent 0.05BTC to poloniex around 24 hours ago, the History shows the BTC arrived but my actual account balance never updated.

First time its ever happened to me. I've logged a ticket yesterday but still waiting...any idea how long this is going to take to get resolved?  I wanted to buy DASH at 0.06 and now its at 0.078.....
