this has been talked about 20x in this thread, and the documentation is in chat but..... no there will most likely not be a wallet on launch. on launch we will prob continue to use webwallet to xfer our coins to exchanges or just leave them validated and the seeds in cold storage (me for about 60% of my coins) |

What is weird, is that i've seen boths WAVES and DAO dev meetings,coding in real-time,answer questions.
Never saw Lisk dev meeting around....
dumping Lisk for this reason means buying ETH at almost twice the price it was when The DAO opened, and then paying x1.5 the price for DAO Tokens. that's a very expensive investment. only those who went all in with Lisk would need to dump. everyone else has the available funds to invest across ICOs at best value. i don't think too many people went all in. dumping for this reason will be a marginal behaviour. Good point! I will actually be going Short ETH at about the time. The DAO crowdfund has removed a lot of ETH from circulation which is price positive for ETH short term. Once that is over, the short term supply removal will be over and the reverse supply dynamics will be in effect (ETH in DAO will be invested and spent by the receivers putting downward pressure on ETH.) On top of that ETH has high inflation so at a $1.2-1.5 Billion valuation, the constant new demand ETH requires just to offset mining is even more than BTC needs to sustain it's price after the halving. Meanwhile LISK has lower inflation and has already raised the cash in BTC that it will be using to fund LISK development for the following year so the spending of that that won't have a LISK price suppressive effect but will constantly raise it's value as more things are developed. |

not really since ETH all smart contracts are handled by the ETH chain so any bug in a smart contract can have an effect on ETH as a whole. That is why lisk uses Sidechains so that even if a DAPP has issues with hackable bugs, it does not have an effect on the main Lisk chain. ya man, exactly. plus the 10 other reasons anyone can research  ETH is a broken mess for 100 reasons , people realizing tho and thats cool IF lisk keeps on, we will slay ETH ,plain and simple. they will keep on the mixing coins, DAO, slock.it joke tho, let them have it. liskhq, dont let us down man, all the tools are there to finally put ETH in it's place. partner with them, show them TRUE DEVELOPMENT. they will realize sidechains are the only way. but dont fall to their shiny suits, they are masters of hype, but true dev work will shine through. 4 days till launch "Plain and simple" Lol You need to take time for a walk. |
