A possible approach is to get circa 5 really good Dapp project/partnerships lined up but advertise/set the big announcement date for that as well as anything else exciting for 1 week after LISK officially begins trading.

Often many people profit take at launch, hoping to buy back cheaper shortly afterwards, but this could partly thwart that approach and help set a higher base valuation from the outset.

An investor is an investor.
The team cannot decide (or actually know!) who's right or wrong to invest.
That's the whole point in crypto, trustless and decentralized world.

Having said that, im quite sure Yobit will not risk their business and reputation for some 100's of btc.
After all, their exchange has some volume, and is profitable i assume.
If they'll stand behind their "word" and will change all the iou's in real lisks at launch,
Then they made a great business move.

Same was done with Eth and Bittrex (ethercoin), Augur and Gatecoin..
Demand is there, small exchanges want in before the big ones enter, and its reasonable.

As mentioned by others before, people sent the Lisk team millions of dollars and you basically issued an IOU. You have every financial incentive to deliver, however, it's still a form of IOU. I just recommend getting off the high horse and get back to me when you spot the irony. The market doesn't need your centralized permission. You notifed your investors you don't support it, that's all you can do.

2.) we agree on price / escrow
3.) Buyer sends btc to escrow
4.) When Mainnet launches, i send LISK to buyers address
5.) I get btc from escrow, everyone is happy.
