The real hype lies in useful Dapps, not in some useless price speculation about future Lisk price on Yobit.
Wait, wait, very wrong... almost nobody was talking about sell above $ 2 before the IOUs, now you see people thinking different. Time will tell. As for now it is just speculation. The initial supply of Lisk is much bigger than Yobit\bloombit monopoly.

https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php/topic,22197.msg289388.html#newWe are pleased to offer LISK available for pre-launch trading on OpenLedger OpenLedger has access to LISK ICO coins, and will therefore be making OpenLedger IOU asset OPEN.LISK available for trade in selected markets.
Once LISK coins are released at launch time, the same IOU asset (OPEN.LISK) currently trading during pre-launch will become freely transferrable and withdrawable. You will also be able to make LISK deposits to OpenLedger at that time. The available trading pairs for LISK are as follows:BTC: https://bitshares.openledger.info/#/market/OPEN.LISK_OPEN.BTCBTS: https://bitshares.openledger.info/#/market/OPEN.LISK_BTSETH: https://bitshares.openledger.info/#/market/OPEN.LISK_OPEN.ETH[/size] Welcome to OpenLedger - Smart Trading DecentralizedRonny Boesing CCEDK / OpenLedgerWe're proud to launch our brand new OpenLedger promo. IOU = Proxy Token, similar to after hours trading on the stock market. if the market demands it, exchanges will meet that demand.

Lisk interest picking up steam. aww here i got excited, its just another self dump IOU market, here i thought BTS would bring in the community ;( bah, o well ;( Until Lisk is released, everyone is forced with IOUs. What I like about OpenLedger is I can trade against BTC/Ethereum and then trade that against different types of smart coins and UIAs. So yes, it's still an IOU but at least it's interesting.

Every single exchange trades IOUs, how do you think you trade coins from different chains? When you trade at Bitstamp you're trading IOUs, same for all other exchanges.

Cool. OpenLedger getting into the mix now. That's a good sign. And at least now if someone wants to buy some pre-launch LISK, there's a safe place to go. Also, it looks like they're offering some for less than YObit in order to jumpstart the market, I guess. Nice. By the way, I think LISK:ETH pair is very interesting. Hmmm. Does that foreshadow the epic battle that is about to ensue between ETH and LISK?

It can only be an IOU token. Just not transferrable or withdrawable. Until launch. Which is what the OpenLedger announcement says.

Can someone explain how to properly set up 2FA? I don't want to mess anything up, as they're holding my LISK... Is it verification through phone? email? WTF am I scanning? Sorry for the extremely noob question, I'm just really bad at tetris... ...thanks in advance

Is it possible to run Lisk under Raspberry Pi 2 Raspbian? Not as a full delegatet node only passive node?
yes it is possible The key question is not if the Pi2 can support Lisk (it can), the question is whether your internet connection has good enough latency statistics to support the required ping-pong communications with 100 other delegates in the 10 second blocktime.

i have validated my passphrase, anything else i need to do? all i see is a transaction ID and a LISK address. how do i access my coins?
you are dumb. kill yourself. Cannabanana for the win! Come on, guys, be supportive and welcoming of the new users that Lisk needs to succeed. OnDaRiZE, you can go to the online Lisk wallet at https://login.lisk.io/ and after launch enter your passcode. Your Lisk will be there waiting for you. Until then, you can enter a random passcode on the current version to see how the wallet works on the testnet. Here's what you can do after that: https://www.lisk.io/get_started

Is this completely separate & requires me to create an account (even though I have an account at https://ico.lisk.io/users/exchanges)?

Is there a page with the distribution of Lisks? I found the bounty distribution (Twitter, translations, signatures, Facebook), but I can't seem to find the page with the whole distribution explained.
