A launch that is such that the early people who bought into the project can't get what the paid for. ....yeah, that's the opposite of success.
It may not be a complete failure, I'll concede that. ...but it's certainly no success.

You have what you paid for. Everyone that validated their exchanges before the cut off date has their Lisk in their account. If you cannot access any of the three official web wallets and cannot be bothered to learn how to set up a local node, or research any of the delegates posting links to their nodes to see if those nodes are safe to access, then that is a problem solely between the chair and keyboard.

The documentation is available and very thorough. Please take a gander at it.

Install via Docker (easiest) - https://lisk.io/documentation?i=lisk-docs/DockerInstall
Install via Binaries (more prep) - https://lisk.io/documentation?i=lisk-docs/BinaryInstall

Is the blockexporer out of sync? my address from the ICO is not found???

Guys, I'm freaking out! My coins don't seem to have made it into the genesis block. I followed all the ICO instructions and confirmed my keys which were accepted, and I validated my passphrase which was successful.

My passphrase in the web wallet produces the correct account number, but there aren't any coins or transactions there, and nothing shows in the block explorer either.

Can anyone see coins in my account? - 8756238259653999708L

You can't write a protocol/platform like Lisk using NodeJS and expect it to perform well.  That is why others use C++, Go, Rust, C ...

With JavaScript, you can't manipulate memory, use pointers, strong static typing, robust threading, etc...

  • SQL Server: C/C++
  • NodeJS: C++
  • MongoDB: C/C++
  • Git: C
  • Bitcoin: C++
  • PostgreSQL: C
  • Oracle DB: Assembly/C/C++
  • .NET Framework: C++
  • Java VM: C/C++
  • Redis: C
  • IBM Web Sphere: C++
  • MS IIS: C++

The Lisk core libraries should use an appropriate language like C++ then use JavaScript for the DAPI.

No, it's not the user's fault here. The transactions from the 3 official web wallets all won't even work unless you use whole numbers. Then you think it works and the transaction gets 0 confirmations, then after 30 minutes the lisk ends up being back in your account, having not been sent.

I will work on the docker thing (which wasn't working earlier around 5pm),

This event demonstrated how panic reigns over people.

In never saw such panic selling in crypto.

The guys have the only competitor of ETH in their hands, purchased at ICO price, and then sell at a ridiculous rate.

LISK is nothing but a scam. poor transaction. Only a certain people were able to sell their coin and others are holding their coins. Dev team and other associates will earn by selling their coins and the issues were made deliberately so other cant sell their coins.
Mark my word, lisk is nothing but a SCAM coin

So is there going to be an update as to the web wallet? When it will work? as opposed to having a transaction get 0 confirmations and then having the "sent" lisk appear back in your wallet?

The answer is here. I honestly think everyone need to chill the fuck out. There is massive potential here. Someone is trying to damage this coin. Not gonna last. Either someone is DDOS to accumulate cheaper. Many people missed out and did not want to pay 6 dollars a coin....use your brains.
