Calculation is clear:

more Lisk invested in Iconomi ICO = less Lisk put for selling on market =
easier for price to rise.

Lisk invested in Iconomi will remain untouched for a lot of time  Smiley

Why even have an ico, if you're planning to leave the funds untouched for a long time?
It doesn't make sense.

They will first use invested BTC, USD and EUR, than ETH and Lisk

Well, it's a token which main purpose is speculation, so its worth will be directly linked to the worth of the currencies held by it. With that in mind, they'll sell Lisk if they think it's a good exit point and they'll buy it back/more if they think it's a good entry point.
I don't know how long/short term their plans are and whether or not they will be willing to use their funds to manipulate the market, but whether or not they sell Lisk or hold it will be probably determined by its worth and growing potential(or, to be more specific, the Iconomis teams belief in its potential).
Make of that what you will.

…or read what Iconomi is actually about. If they have half a brain, they will keep the Lisk raised as an investment, instead of dumping it.

As I said before, due to its nature, I don't think Iconomi will create a giant ROI right from the beginning. Maybe there is some P&D action in the first few hours of hitting the exchanges, but apart from that, I don't see how a token that is so entwined with the money invested in it should do crazy price jumps. You can see that as a good or bad thing Wink If you want in and back out fast, I wouldn't expect 2x ROI, to be honest. But we'll see. I could be way off here (wouldn't be the first time).

Can you even trust Russians and other Slavs after the Waves fiasco?

I won't be trusting them that is for sure. Having Max kind of vouch for them aswell gives me a nasty taste in my mouth.

I don't (directly) vouch for anyone or anything.

That is a nice post and describes the relationship well. Thanks for that. If I may ask you, what would you say if they say they want all the LISK released at some stage in the future?

eth raised alot when dao was gathering funds and iconomi dumping funds doesnt make any sense... if they need money they will definitely use bitcoin first(more liquidity).

Less lisk in market = price increase. might not be a big pump but i bet it's going up.

The iconomi guys have not yet specified when the ICN tokens will be sent to investors.

Risk I have been thinking about:
ICN ico closes on 29 Sept, and Lisk price snapshot is taken from around 29 Sept. price.  Then LSK price pumps up in Oct/Nov while you are waiting to receive your ICN tokens.  That could cancel out any profit you get on ICN, and you might think "damn I would have been better off just holding LSK"

Well I don't see LSK going anywhere but down for the next couple years, so I might as well jump to the next shitcoin.
How much should I put on iconomi?

Every time I try to use the web wallet, it is 2 days behind. Also an incoming transaction that was there before now disappeared (it is still on the block explorer).

Can anyone tell me what is going on?

The official node's blockchain is stucked at block height 773416... It's impossible to send or receive any transaction until rebuild it.

You can use my delegate node if you want, it's 100% synched.... but I warn you it's NOT SSL protected right now (nothing bad has to happen although)

The most ICO's are overbought at the moment, like Waves!

I don't recommend a ICO atm.

best of luck!

I have invested on antshares (see my signature).

It has indeed attracted too much funding (over 5000BTC) but this shouldn't be a problem unless you want to sell soon after the ICO

What the hell is your problem, you advertise iconomi and yet WE have to talk about Lisk only.
And now you're telling me to leave? What kind of fascist ideology is this?
