I think this coin gets stuck so many times that it isn't worth bothering about until a permanent fix is available.

Bad coding and a dev that disapeared. If you bought into this crap coin then you had no luck. I doubt that it will go anywere because there are a lot of problems with it and the high PoS reward kills it. Linux wallet can stake while windows wallets are fighting for connections.

This coin has forked hard to the left and is stuck in a round-about with cars blocking every entry/exit lol

Once this coin has been fixed the interest on waiting to stake coins will be phenomenal

Go into your roaming folder, find SproutsExtreme, delete everything except for wallet.dat, download the most recent SPEX bootstrap files located on cryptochainer.com then extract to the SPEX roaming folder.

Start wallet with -reservebalance=9999999 & wait for it to sync up then close the wallet.

Re-open the wallet without resevebalance & wait for your stakes to roll in.

from now on there is no point of keep downloading the block chain anymore for me. I will wait until Dev fix the wallet or someone take it over or let it die.

I compiled the Linux Qt from the recent Github Source and it has a different splash screen saying who it was fixed by, anyway no problems with it so far.

I suppose if one really wanted to they could compile the SPEX Linux Qt Wallet and copy over their wallet.dat from their Windows Wallet, sync up and stake.

Or just Import your Private Keys over to the Linux Wallet.
