I travel a lot with work, and most of the time to developing countries. The adoption rate is very low due to poor internet infrastructure. In many countries you will not find a single Bitcoin ATM and then you walk around in North America and you find several in a single city.

A lot of developing countries use Bitcoin extensively for remittance, but they have no merchant network accepting Bitcoin payment. Coinbase should expand their Shift card to these countries, to stimulate trade in Bitcoin.

I don't think Coinbase will make the card available for foreigners, it is going to be for US citizens only and it seems not even all the states can operate with it yet.

Right now it's normal. It's not better or worse then other countries. Like many other countries the governement is waiting how the markets will react.
Embed bitcoin or keep blocking it.

Slow and Steady wins the race, same is the case of bitcoin in my country, it is getting popular day by day, and people are adopting bitcoins at a moment but not at a high pace, but its good to see that people are showing their interest in bitcoins.

That's good to hear, that your country is actively involved in accepting bitcoins as a mode of payment, as in my country I still don't find a physical shop that accepts bitcoin as a mode of payment, and I believe it will take a long time to happen.

We can pay our bills using bitcoins, we can also deposit and withdraw via traditional bank deposit, online banking, ordering thru 7-11 and other financial institutions. However, the stores accepting bitcoins seems to be lacking.

Exactly and that is the scenario in majority of countries, and the issue is we are not able to spend our bitcoins physically in our country, and it is still only digital for us as we are using it only for online transaction, so lets hope that this scenario changes soon in near future.

The use of bitcoins in my country is not well established but there are some people using them. Those who use them are for purposes of trading or borrowing/Lending on peer to peer platforms

Indeed I think that the problem is that most of the people do not know about bitcoin, not that they do not want to use it.

If we guide them in a proper and positive way then I think the scenario can be changed, but it totally depends on them whether they want to accept it or not.

Yeah, but if they holds negative mindsets then it would be really difficult to motivate them, as we find many people who don't have faith in digital currency.

It's a shame, I could be using that card here in Canada. But all these regulations keep everyone some simply moving things around and making stuff widely available. It would also allow for a bit more versatile credit/debit system for me, if I don't have the money sitting around to pay for something anyways.

that's a sad news, but it would also be an opportunity for you to restart a bitcoin business...but it won't be easy, specially if the government remarks bitcoin as illegal in where you live..

I dont know any establishment in our country that accepts bitcoin as payment like in malls or other establishment. Bt Im happy that is is convenoeint now to fund your wallet  or transfer/encash it on local banks,or other financial institution.
