Shocked Well I'll be darned this is good news now hopefully we never face this issue again and we can all happily stake our PEX when you Release the new wallets / Src Code. Took some time I will say but atleast you pulled your Finger out and done it  Grin Now hopefully it will get some interest again as I do like the Wallet and the Tabs in it Think they are awesome. Hopefully the price can recover too Cheesy

so that 1900 blocks with 0.1 reward for 190 coins.  so how does that compensate? goes to POS staking?

Are you going ahead with the super POS (100000% etc) or are you toning a bit down?  It might be a case where the guy that can stake first will get his coins to the exchange first and dump down to 1 sat. It might actually provide more longevity if you can just fix the chain but keep it at 10%. A <2000 coin could mean longer term value. The super POS would cause almost instantaneous death of the coin. It would be an entertaining experiment, but the price of the coin would be as difficult to pin down as the Higgs boson.

POS is not a problem, I just hope that the code is "correct". Think about coding the POS in such a way that it discourages dumping. I think that it is a good idea if POS rewards increase with time, or probably if coins need to have "MATURITY" in wallet, before they can earn stakes.

Maturity should be up to 5 days.

We need to think.

When will you release block explorer?

It would be good if the POS rewards were coded in a manner that encourages hoarding of coins and staking.

- ANTI-INSTAMINE

First few POS blocks should have very low rewards, like 1% POS, for 2 days, to discourage POS INSTAMINING by DEV team. It is the DEV team that releases wallets, so they will have UNFAIR time advantage over everybody else.

- RANDOM POS REWARDS OR POS REWARDS INCREASING AND DECREASING IN CYCLES:

Example,
block 0 - 5000 = 1% POS (ANTI-INSTAMINE)
block 5001 - 10000 = 20% POS
block 10001 - 15000 = 50% POS
block 15001 - 20000 = 80% POS
block 20001 - 25000 = 100% POS
block 25001 - 30000 = 200% POS
block 30001 - 35000 = 500% POS
block 35001 - 40000 = 1000% POS
block 40001 - 45000 = 100% POS
block 45001 - 50000 = 200% POS
block 50001 - 55000 = 500% POS
block 55001 - 60000 = 1000% POS
block 60001 - 65000 = 100% POS
65001 - end = 10% POS

block 30001 - 35000 = 500% POS

The proposed schedule already looks much better than the original one. The chain however will not start from scratch and will continue from 10017(25). I would rather than giving 0.1 POW blocks keep it at 0 reward otherwise people will rape the POW blocks. POW should just be there to move the chain if necessary.

Yeah, this was just an example.

The POS/POW blocks should continue from where it stopped (block 10017, as you claim) with 5000 ANTI-INSTAMINE BLOCKS. These blocks should have very tiny POS rewards, like 1%, to prevent DEV team from having an EXTREMELY unfair advantage, because they will always have their wallets ready before everybody else.

Also, from the example, POS rewards should be increasing with time, to increase buying pressure. 1000% POS reward is OK as maximum POS, but I think that POS rewards should be coded to fluctuate up and down, so that buying pressure is maintained for a long time.

We need to go back to the old fashioned way, where coins need a "maturity period" of up to 5 days before they earn their stake rewards. This will also discourage DUMPING.

Hi, POSEX.

It is good for you to include a few low POS blocks in the beginning, called ANTI-INSTAMINE POS BLOCKS.

This is to ensure that people get a fair start, especially people in different time zones.

We possibly want the first 5000 blocks to be ANTI-INSTAMINE, so that regular people who go to work have the same opportunity as the DEV team.
