Motocoin is a cryptocurrency utilizing an innovative proof-of-play scheme where coins can only be mined by cognitive workload - playing a 2D motorbike simulation game, which is different from Bitcoin and other crypto-currencies that use a proof-of-work scheme where miners must perform difficult computations and then use proof of that work to secure coin transactions and get their reward. Motocoin has been dominated by bots but now a fast, publicly available bot has been released, giving everyone a fair chance at mining.

Network Parameters

• Blocks are generated on average every 60 seconds.
• The reward for solving a block starts at 20 motocoins, which is halved every 1'000'000 blocks (about two years) and stops decreasing at 0.4 motocoins per block.
• Mining difficulty is adjusted every 2000 blocks through lowering the target time if blocks took less than an average of 60 seconds to generate, or raising the target time if blocks took longer than that.
• ≈40 million coins are to be generated during the first 12 years and ≈200,000 coins per year after.
• 450K premine (was partially used for rewards, the rest was sold in panic during the early days of Motocoin).

Bot Download:
Download the bot here here (windows) then replace the motogame executable with the downloaded one. To start the bot, click the "Play to Mine" button in the "Play" tab of the wallet.
The bot was compiled by ElvenArcher. There are two different bots (not sure which ones work) and the source codes here and here along with the linux and windows executable.

they will make the bootstrap, just need the "001", index, and database folder files

This is very interesting and a great innovation I have never encounter anything like this,the one close to this is Neucoin where you need to play a solitary race before you are rewarded with a coin,will see how this things evolve,it is much easier to mine this coin because it is very entertaining..

But it is easier to get the coins your are "trying" to get if you use the Motocoin bot which killed this coin in the first place

I have downloaded the wallet bit it is not syncing at all and when I tried to play the game it just open and immediately close,what is the issue in this and how can I fix This

the game won't open till the syncing is done, it uses the blocks so thats why its doing that
it won't sync prob cause u didn't make a conf file and add the OP addnodes

Open up your file explorer and in the top bar type "%appdata%" (without the " ") then click on the folder called "Motocoin".

Once there, right click > new > text document.

Open it up and then paste in this:

Then go to File > Save as.

At the bottom where it says "Text Documents (*.txt)" change it to "All Files (*.*)
Then change the file name to "motocoin.conf" (without the " "). Make sure to delete the .txt off the end of the file name.
Once this is done, click save. Then you will see a new file in the folder called motocoin.conf.

Alternatively you can just open up the console in the wallet and type this in: (this may not work and if it doesn't, use the method shown above)

Now restart the wallet and you should be syncing.

You may need to install this: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784
Click download then choose vcredist_x64 if you have a 64 bit operating system or vcredist_x86 if you have a 32 bit operating system. Then run the file and it will install the necessary things.

If you want to play the game to get coins, you must use the motocoin wallet. Wait for it to sync then go to the "Play" tab and click the "Play to mine" button.

If you are here to make some motocoins, then I suggest you use the bot, as it is a lot faster than humans, unfortunately. Though this might change in the future.
To use the bot, just replace the motogame.exe file that comes with the wallet with the one that comes with the bot download.

It does not use GPU. I think it is the most profitable CPU-only mining at this moment.

What do you mean by "corrupt file"? It is zip archive.

prob fixed , it seemed to get corrupted when downloading with torrent program, Clikec 'open in new tab' to use browser download, and have received a workable zip , TY for your response prob solved

A blockchain file is in the works, so now newcomers will be able to sync much quicker.

Also, I had the bot on for 1 hour and made over 1000 coins.

This coin is old but still strong. Many people left after someone created a bot and made human mining ineffective.

Recently (a week ago) ElvenArcher released his fast bot to the public. So now Motocoin is kind of like a POW coin now (with few miners, but now with the public bot we are working on building the coin back up again and getting a lot of miners in). If you start mining now you'll get quite a few coins.

Soon we might update the game so that it allows humans to be able to mine alongside the bots and humans still get paid a fair amount. Texture packs for the game are also being worked on.
