Nope, if you have staking=0, the wallet will not stake at all.
You have to stake the excess coins in a separate wallet.

Did you try to setup MN yet? I would have definitely done that if I had 25K

The new MN amount is pretty big one, as to me. I would prefer it smaller, just so more people could have fun, but well... 25K is acceptable. Though I think smaller amount could attract more new users. With bigger amount only the current large holders will run MN I guess...

25k DRZ per masternode will make Droidz a very expensive coin.

We have 8m DRZ

So at present, theoretically, this will equal a maximum of 320 masternodes.

Practically, the most we might have with this set-up is 100 masternodes = 2.5m DRZ in masternodes.

A typical whale would have 5 - 10 masternodes, while a few investors will struggle to have one masternode each.

Lets see how it works out. Masternodes will end up as a priviledge for the lucky few


I feel that the large figure will encourage people to stake their wallets ordinarily, while those with a bit of money will struggle to have 1 or 2 masternodes. This will keep price high, as any cheap coins floating around will be quickly scooped up, to create a masternode.

The large figure will prevent people from abusing the masternode system, as many holders, including the big holders will be forced to keep some coins staking outside the masternode system.

please read and comment on the reasons why i suggested ( and was agreed on ) for the 25kdrz masternode minimum ...

so to answer those questions about why - ill await greedyjohns response - before i explain why ... but its a pretty simple explanation and greedyjohn pretty much summed up the explanation in his previous post ...

the question as to why its taking so long for a swap address ( klassje ) - its a valid question and not a silly questions at all ... there is only one answer ... because! ...

soopy has not been seen for a few days ... he does this from time to time due to anything from personal issues to business situations ... we ALL do this occasionally ...

not withstanding that soopy is one hell of a developer - he has a life and has personal issues he needs to cater to ... so in that respect - the 'assumption' ( as no one really knows but soopy ) is that he is taking care of those issues and that is the reason he hasnt made an appearance here yet ...

my issue is with ANY developer ( or really anyone ) - soopy included - is the need for deadlines that everyone seems to give out willy nilly ... i DONT give out deadlines unless i KNOW it will be done by the time of the deadline ... why give a deadline out only to have people waiting on that deadline ... and waiting and waiting - no matter how simple the task at hand may be ...

i have a great deal of respect for soopy - as i do with a lot of developers - BUT this deadline garbage ( with no intention of keeping to it ) is beyond me ... i have been conversing with soopy for a long time - as well as  working with him on a few projects ... i KNOW his work - and its good ... but these deadlines! ...

soopy has produced some good results - and if there is something that he needs to get sorted in his own life - then that should be sorted so he can focus on the work ... but these deadlines! ...

and seriously ... these damned deadlines! ...

im going to try and get hold of soopy - but there is no guarantee when ... so ill keep doing what i do best ... work on my 'stuff' until soopy comes back - or when soopy contacts ...

just have some patience everyone ... we will get to it ... its just unfortunate this time - soopy is the only one with the ability to supply the address ... he will come through - im sure of it ...

guys and gals - you have BOTH drz2 and drz3 wallets ...

let them stake - let them build you more coins for the swap ... remember - the more coins you stake in drz2 - the more you can swap - and the more you will be able to put towards the masternodes ...

we added more than enough coins to drz3 for the swap AND the payments AND the droidzfund ...

the only thing you CANNOT do - is deposit and withdraw from frozen exchange wallets - thats it ...

so relax - and let us get it all sorted ...

btw - you wont get deadlines from me - unless they are achievable ... ill try and impart that onto soopy also ... hehehe ...

If you mean the OLD-DRZ, then no special tricks needed there. Just download the wallet Ver.2.5 from SoopY's post, add the
