I suspect that some of these so called disappeared devs are in cahoots so to speak.Take over a coin and watch them come outta the woodwork. They pump the shit out of coins there but you cant withdraw them you have to be careful.

not a chance ...

soopy and i worked on bringing this coin back from the dead ...

the only issue was that soopy was the core dev - that is just plain unreliable ... which is a pity - as he is a good dev - IF - he works on a project ... the reliability factor is the issue with soppy - not much else ... especially his honesty ...

this has never been a 'plan' as you suggest - and never will be ... yobit IS the most unreliable exchange platform on the market today - and will not change until they actually get something done with their 'management' ... there is nothing sinister going on there - and nothing that would construe a collaboration between devs and exchange operators ...

yobit is simply - not a great exchange due to the management of it ... good platform - but needs better management ...

my advice to you all is very simple - as stated earlier ... if yobit release the drz market ( and they may eventually do it ) - remove ALL your coins to a more accessible place - like your own wallet ...

ccex has not been an issue at all - and there is definitely no collusion of any sorts with the owner of that exchange ...

so your suggestion /suspicion is unfounded in the most complete way ...

we will do what we can to stabilize this - or close it altogether ( assimilate it into granite ) ... which ever way its done - it will be done in a fair and transparent manner ...

#crysx

You misunderstand me I was not talking about you or the original developer I was talking strictly about yobit not you or soopy or Ce Cex. Ce cex like you said has never been an issue.Anyways that being said I look forward to seeing this coin alive and well again.Hats off to you for the hard work.

all good ...

what i responded with was not an attack of any sort - and if i you saw it that way - please accept my apologies ...

but i do agree that yobit really need to pull their socks up by a HUGE margin ...

i actually dont understand why they are like this - and why people still invest their coins into such a lazy-managed exchange ...

maybe they will see the light of reason when we inform them of the activity we have taken on - and the activity we will in future ...

what are your thoughts on locking this thread and moving it all to cwi? ... it  will happen - but i just want get some feedback before any of it occurs ...

btw - your input and constructive criticisms are always welcome ...

tanx ...

#crysx

No I didn't see it as an attack just a reasoning and a wish to understand its all good.I was just trying to respond to the other gentleman.Yes I think it would be wise to lock this and move the discussion over to what you said.Im not all that sure what that is but the waters here be full of sharks I think. One can never be to careful.  Smiley

the 'other' thread is chainworks industries thread ...

it is an umbrella that was created to cover and embrace the support and development ( when appropriate ) of ALL the projects that i ( and others ) have started and currently work on ... this also includes the coin support for other projects ( via nodes - which are usually hardcoded in the respective wallets ) and the integration os all the code and statistics into one place ... this will happen when the cwi-website is published ... it is huge - so its taking a long time ... this means we may just publish the 'base' website - and add to it as we go along ...

chainworks industries is also a recently registered business name here in australia - so it is fast becoming an entity that will not only provide infrastructure - but development possibilities - and tools that are going to be integrated into one place ... a 'home' for the projects as it were ...

i have yet to update the op - and i am so inundated with work - that i have had no time to do a full update ... but soon ...

so now - droidz is part of this family ... with which we need to determine if it stays as a separate entity - or not ...

That is truly a grand idea.I had something similar in mind and purchased the domain altcoinwatchers.com.Like you said its a ton of work. website is up but not nearly finished, and Im still deciding on how to go about it all.I haven't had the cash to redirect the domain and Pay wixsites for a better account so its still parked at the domain reg.Im not a developer by any means But I had thought of getting some trusted people together and start to take over some of these dead coins therefore bypassing yobit and getting peoples coins back where they belong.

I really like to help people its the way I was raised being 55 I guess im old school.I know a few coins with healthy chains clean as a whistle wallets and still on git nothing wrong with them its just yobit has hijacked them and developers have went poof one I think got busted for some reason or other he was involved in some major scam if memory serves me right.Good coin and coins just waiting for someone like you and me and us.I would love the opportunity to help you in any way I can and learn from this.Consider me a loyal follower i just wish I had seen this much much sooner.  Wink

ps I had seen the name chainworks floating around someplace but cant remember as Im all over the place lol trying to learn what I can.

there are a number of things that can be done to resurrect various coins from ensured death ...

its just whether or not its worth the effort ... as i too am around the 'old school' and work in a very similar fashion ...

hence chainworks industries ( cwi ) ...

i am just finihsing anothe section of the cwi-pool system - and will break for lunch .. then need some real life stuff sorted ... so will be mia for a few hours while this gets done ... but we can always chat further - as the cwi-ecosystem is MUCH larger than what we publish / post ... the reason is the way i / we work ... when something is accomplished - it gets published ... there is no grey area with us - especially with regards to marketing hype of what MAY be or is COMING - unless it is currently being worked on ... as so many coins / devs do - and then disappear when they make enough btc for themselves ...

we are nothing like that ... i am nothing like that ... the owner of the business and domains is nothing like that ... we who are involved are nothing like that ...

we are cwi - and we work as we would if it were our own business ( hence 'theteam' - which are the core of cwi ) ...

im on skype - chrysophylax69 ... chat soon if we can ...

Heh, whats the point of a feedback if the decision is already made regardless? Smiley

If you need the CWI thread to grow long, and/or have more activity... then do it. But I think the names and specs of all the coins incorporated, should be clearly put in an easily approachable and visible place.

In general (as you asked for random thoughts Grin), people mostly check ANN threads, and recognize coin brands (like Granit, Droidz, OzzieCoin), not sure how often they will look into CWI thread. It seems to me the CWI brand is not yet developed to the extend to assimilate those coin brands and get rid of them. I am no specialist in branding and PR, but it seems to me easily recognizable catchy names are preferred to abbreviations...

A related question: is it planned to do some kind of raising awareness campaign for CWI (the old good signature, twitter campaigns)?

the points you have raised are quite valid points ...

deciions have NOT been made and set in concrete - as such ... the decisions are more a directive - that can be changed if need be ... and constructive feedback is ALWAYS important along every step - unless a decision is set in stone ... as with the decision to take on droidz under the cwi-umbrella - that decision is a firm one ... which means for the time being - we will be setting up ( for the very least and the time being ) the seednodes for droidz in a more extensive manner ... ie - more seednodes while correcting the dns in the hardcoded source - which means new wallets with that change ... and a new git that will be covered under the new cwi-ecosystem ... as well as few other areas we need to cover ( such as the yobit issue ) ...

cwi itself is a brand only unto itself - not as a 'coin' per se ...

it IS a business name currently - about to be incorporated later this year in australia ... the business side of chainworks industries ( cwi ) has taken care of that - continues to and will continue to - take care of all that side of cwi ...

as for the marketing - that is something that does need to be looked at in a massive way ... we do NOT have a marketing team - or 'a' marketer - at this stage mate ... this is something we were looking at further downthe track - and as 'tekheds' rather than marketers - we didnt think this was going to be much of an issue in the short term ... but it is fast becoming something that is growing too fast for us to form as a marketing brand / force that we can focus on as technical people ... one very simple idea for me - was to have the cwi 'single-profile logo' for all those that are tied to / affiliated with cwi as an entity ... like the one on the crysx profile i was using before i got this profile back ... of course - all this can be discussed much more in detail on the cwi thread itself ... considering setting up a skype group that we can discuss this all on also ...

as a separate thread for every project we have - that can become quite cumbersome on a management level and indeed and project level as a whole ... there needs to be a better way than a separate thread for every project we take on ... i personally cant do it alone - but i CAN deal with one thread on all matters ... though i have to agree with you - it can become cluttered ... currently on the cwi thread - i head the main posts with a title in bold - when i have a post specific to a project that cwi has ... so far so good - but cluttering is what im concerned about also ...

as for the assimilation or adoption - there is no firm decision there at all ... the droidz 'brand' has been tarred by the reluctance for any ONE dev to stick around and become 'the' dev ... which is why i have placed this coin under cwi ... at least now - there WILL be progress - no matter how slow the progress may be and no matter which dev we have that works on the coin ...

this is all still a work in progress mate ... but your points make sense and are as always beneficial for the growth of not only the coin - but also the entire cwi-ecosystem ...

we will get there ... Wink ...

Is this coin still active? lol, crypto are amazing!

it has been sitting dormant ...

now we are taking it completely under our wing ...

parking it for the time being as we setup the seednodes and infrastructure for the coin ... so trading really is the one thing that can keep going here while we get it all setup in the coming weeks ...

yobit will be approached soon - and we are looking at trying to get their backsides moving to get their wallets moving ...

new wallets will be setup soon - with the seednodes hardcoded - so that no one has any issues syncing if the ports are clear ...

more to come in the coming weeks ...

tanx mate ...

we are also taking on board all the comments and ideas as well ...

it seems my idea / decision to concatenate the threads into one cwi-thread is opposed - and with the arguments put forward - justly so ... even by my own camp that think having separate threads with separate areas of conversation is a much bteer way to do things ... and honestly - i believe that these arguments far outweigh my idea of pulling all projects into the cwi-thread alone ...

i just dont 'want' the extra work of managing all these threads ... considering i would rather work in the background on the more technical side of the business ... im trying to convince gownam to come in and step up - but as the business side of chainworks industries - he also is time limited ...

so one of my ideas was a bad one - i concede and put my tail between my legs and move forward ...

so this channel should stay open? ... or start a new thread that i have started ( as this is a separate login and profile ) ...

suggestions please ...

hi all ...

now that we are underway with the adoption into the cwi-ecosystem - we will be changing the way things are done ...

all up for improvement - and the improvement of the thread and development of what was once a a really good project ...

changes will occur slowly - but surely - and as mentioned earlier - the suggestions and ideas are all taken on board ... as mentioned earlier - the 'base' system changes will be taking place first within the cwi-infrastructure to make way for the changes that will either bring this coin back to life - or completely assimilate it into the granite network altogteher ...

so far - there is strong support to bring the coin back to life - and push for the branding to be maintained and developed ...

i believe the communties voice is a strong one - and we can grow if the droidz community is behind the project ...

we will update as we go along ... and a poll will be placed with regards to the new thread ...

i also believe a new thread should be created - with the specs and stats and details of the coin in the op ...

please let us know what you think ...

the old wallets have the old seednodes hardcoded into them ...

one of the things we need to do is setup the new nodes and hardcode those into the wallets ... which will happen - just not right this minute ...

i think i have redirected - and setup only a few nodes so far - so in your conf file - add these lines ...

Code:
addnode=drz-seed01.chainworksindustries.com
addnode=drz-seed02.chainworksindustries.com
addnode=drz-seed03.chainworksindustries.com

that should help ...

let me know what happens ...

Avoid using the YoBit exchange!

Warning: Please avoid trading CRW at the YoBit exchange at all cost. They still haven't updated and run on the old chain, so any CRW you deposit to or withdraw from YoBit WILL BE LOST! Trying our best to get them to update, but they seem to be ignoring us for no reason.

Instead: It's 100% safe to trade CRW on Bittrex [CRW-BTC] and C-Cex [CRW-BTC]. Happy trading! Smiley

I have lost track of how many times we have contacted them.  Yobit might as well be a scam.  We have been warning them about this for months.

To make things worse, even though they know there is a problem with the wallet, they are still allowing people to generate deposit addresses and send coins!

yobit? ... yobit? ... holy crap ...

the amount of coins and projects that have been complaining about yobit ... their lack of ethics - their lack of time management - their lack of care to anyone or any project - unless yobit is making LOTS of money from it ...

please stay away from yobit with all you have ... till the day they 'fix' their 'care' issues and lack of patronage to their customers ...

i am going to have one HELL of a time with ozc and drz now ... and i REALLY dont want to contact them again ...

#crysx

yup ...

dealing with yobit is as painful as pulling teeth ... without anesthetic ...

ozziecoin ( ozc ) is running well - and im VERY worried about their lack of car for the new updates for ozc ...

as for droidz ( drz ) - i will contact them to see where they are at with the process ... but over a year now since we did the swap - they have done NOTHING with the daemon update ...

we have now placed granite ( grn ) - ozziecoin ( ozc ) - droidz ( drz ) - into the main 'official' chainworks industries git ... https://github.com/chainworksindustries/ ...

there - the code was changed so that not only the current 25seednodes ( of which 18seednodes are fully functional ) are hardcoded into the core - but the entire 70seednodes have been hardcoded into the core for the future reference of the expansion for the cwi-seednodes system ... this will make it fundamentally easier to sync when the new wallets are released ...

currently - grn and ozc are fully synced ... drz is half way ...

the code seems to have issues with the autosync - but that may be due to the seednodes being some of the few wallets open in the droidz network ...

once they fully sync ( 7seednodes are half way - the other 11seednodes are completely in sync ) - it should be a LOT easier for anyone to open their drz wallet and do a full complete sync of the current blockchain ...

ill update on the chainworks industries thread also - in good time ...

for now - back to work to solidify the backend for cwi-infrastructure ...

as for yobit though ... PLEASE AVOID them at all costs ...

if you have ozc in the yobit exchange - REMOVE THEM IMMEDIATELY - and place them into your personal wallets or into the cryptopia exchange instead ... we will send messages to yobit to update us on what level they are at with drz - but i highly doubt we will get a reasonably prompt response ... so please dont hold your breath ...

if you are one that has drz in yobit - please let us know here - and we will make sure that they know that you are also concerned about the well being of the drz that they have hostage currently ...

also - a new thread will be started inline with the cwi-ecosystem ... so this thread will be locked and the new CURRENT op will be published in the new thread when possible ...

hi all ...

it seems there are very few members that have stuck around - as the poll is only answered by 4members ... which is overwhelmingly to start a new thread anyway ...

this pretty much tells us that making the decisions which seem best for the coin will be really on the shoulders of the cwi-team ...

some great ideas have been suggested earlier in the thread - and via pm ... so we will take a lot into consideration as to where the road will head for droidz ...

git is complete - new daemons complete - sync in seednodes are now also complete bar two ( which are close to completion ) ...

this thread will be locked soon - and ill copy the main thread op into the new one - just for the sake of 'history' and graphics ...

tanx for all those that have made an input into this ...

I personally didn't vote, as I cannot just tell neither 'yes' nor 'no' (nor "don't care" Smiley). The new thread is needed, but it would be best to do that when things are set in stone and there are few tangible achievements. Otherwise we will be just hit by posts like "same shitcoin!", "again!", "is this shit still alive - why?", "is this new coin - no!! its old scam", "when ICO dev", "any bounty dev"  etc etc, and it will be hard to give solid answers...

BTW, on a different topic... I do have some DRZ coins in Yobit... caught them from someone's dump some time ago. But not sure whether it makes sense to contact Yobit yet, I doubt they will give a f*ck.

You NEED to contact YOBIT if you have coins stuck there.

We should contact YOBIT as soon as crysx is able to sync his wallets.

hi all ...

it seems there are very few members that have stuck around - as the poll is only answered by 4members ... which is overwhelmingly to start a new thread anyway ...

this pretty much tells us that making the decisions which seem best for the coin will be really on the shoulders of the cwi-team ...

some great ideas have been suggested earlier in the thread - and via pm ... so we will take a lot into consideration as to where the road will head for droidz ...

git is complete - new daemons complete - sync in seednodes are now also complete bar two ( which are close to completion ) ...

this thread will be locked soon - and ill copy the main thread op into the new one - just for the sake of 'history' and graphics ...

tanx for all those that have made an input into this ...

yup ...

i tend to agree with you mate ... on the yobit front anyway ...

as for the thread - those comments will not be tolerated ... as its NOT the same 'management' - nor is it the same developers or 'team' ( i use that term loosely to describe what was )  - or backend - or infrastructure ... and it certainly isnt the same people who created this mess in the first place ...

its now a solid infrastructure - a sound dev team - a stable backing ... and of course - its a business that is behind it all - chainworks industries ...

its taken a while to decide to adopt the coin also - and all these things were part of the considerations ... especially the mess with yobit ...

i honestly believe the same - that they dont give a crap ... but will email them and see ... otherwise - we will do what is necessary to make sure that the coins that DO exist in the hands of those that ARE involved and interested in the project - get back something from the investment that they made ...

will take it on as is comes ... head on ...
