So how much are you guys making staking the coin? curious on actual real turnover and not just stats
I would not be specific on how many coins I am staking but I'm getting 4000 to 30,000 Bigup coins daily it varies daily because Bigup is not the only wallet I'm staking,try it and see how profitable it is.. I'm staking way below that amount, twice daily, but lately I'm getting a lot of orphans. What could be reason for that eh? Happens sometimes when you stake the same time as someone else and there's is accepted and yours not. At least that is what I have been told explanation of the dev:
Orphan blocks mean the block you created did not propagate to the network before a competing block on the chain. This does not mean you are losing stake though
Stake is based on time not blocks submitted. What this means is that you are rewarded for time holding coins not for the blocks you generate (like with PoW) so if you did not get stake because of an orphed block you will get stake later when your block is accepted

I guess I am not seeing how the stake is made up later on. I have had lots of orphans in stakingband have never seen an increase in a stake to make up for orphans. But I don't know much about how hat works so trying to wrap my head around it |

Sometimes it's frustrating if you're running your wallet for 10 hours or more but you are getting a lot of orphan coins especially if those orphaned involve a huge amount of coin,is there a way to fix this so you'll always get a completed blocks..

that's also my concern with regarding to a staking coin, if handled by a trade platform in bulk wallet how the staking works where did the rewards goes, so we cant control the price if its handle by the owner of this platform, might be possible that the site owner will benefits from the stake or trade volume that has been deposited from their own wallet. how someone here can answer this.
I can only speculate on how the exchanges handle the storage of coins that are being traded and how staking is handled in those situations
It is generally good practice to hold large quantities of coins in cold storage for security purposes. BigUp uses POS2 so it does not have cold storage staking capabilities
To maximize staking from a large quantity of coins would require coin control and I would guess that exchanges have many other priorities over gaining stake from the different coins listed. Coin control under those circumstances would have to be managed every time coins were sent out
If exchanges are staking coins (and this would apply to all POS coins not just BigUp) then that would affect the overall supply equally since staking is the same regardless of who is holding the coins for stake. If you don't want exchanges to make stake from coins then the best plan is to stake them yourself and only move them to an exchange when you want to sell

I have just installed the premium script of Bigup online store and will soon populate it materials I am looking forward to include over 100 titles here that cover a lot of interest only problem ie I need help on Bigup payment where buyer can easily download the materials after paying Bigup coins..
We will dedicate a thread in the BigUp Forum to this subject but as a quick start you may want to take a look at C-CEX and their merchant documentation:

Those stakes will come through eventually, On Big up I have had to redo wallet a number of times, delete all but wallet.dat and add nodes list to a peers.dat and reopen client |

I don't see anything funny here,I am serious there is nothing funny on my post I already had a lot of online store and some service and merchants site set up to some of my clients so it's going to be easy to me,the script default payments are paypal and credit card so we need an API for Bigup for payment completion after that we're to go.. |
