Why most of atheists here on this forum feel so threatened that they have to attack against religious world view all the time? Are they so insecure about their own world view? Why they are so scared?

Why most of atheists here on this forum feel so threatened that they have to attack against religious world view all the time? Are they so insecure about their own world view? Why they are so scared? Atheists are neither threatened nor scared... Atheists have been under attack from Christians since... well... forever... Atheists are only now beginning to defend themselves against all the lies and slander that Christians have thrown at us throughout the centuries... It's self-defense Atheists want to remove all the crazy laws that Christians have established in this country... like laws that allow you to murder your child in the name of religion (prayer in lieu of medical treatment)... homophobic laws... (previously slavery... look it up... Christians used the bible to support slavery!)... shall I bring up the witch-hunts (I live in the city where that happened)? Scared? No... Tired of being pushed around? Yes!

Only one of us is making up lies, and its definitely not the Atheist Atheists tend to believe in facts, truth, logic, evidence and reality... if you cannot prove it... it didn't happen. Period. End of story

We come out because it is age of reason, Information Age, not Middle Ages or Bronze Age. The time for your bullshit ideas has passed. Accept it and we can all move on. Religion had its time in the Sun. I for one know there is no God, devil, heaven or hell. Never was never will. If you have proof to change my mind, we already have a thread for that.

I'm glad that Christians do not read the bible... Could you imagine if they all read Leviticus, and believed those verses were commands from God?... Every one of them would be a serial killer, and there would be no humans left on the planet... that is how many people God orders you to kill in that single book!... basically, kill everyone you don't like (and kill most of the people you do like)...

I read it every day Did you start at the beginning? Have you made it to Leviticus? Have you read the acid trip that is Revelations? Or just the cherry-picked verses that your daily calendar hands you?

Have you read the acid trip that is Revelations?
The Book of Revelations is not an acid trip, it simply describes the state of humanity and events soon to come in these last times

I read Revelations when I was 12, after my teacher at the private Christian School that I was attending, warned us not to read that book during our morning forced reading of the bible (I have a habit of doing everything people warn me not to... I want to know what they are hiding... and I had read most of the other books already) It was the craziest shit I have ever read... It is wackier than Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas! No joke... crazier than any cartoon I have ever seen... it's really out there That's where people get the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse... and, it has dragons! Who doesn't love a good dragon story?

Bahaha... the Golden CrocoDuck Award! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CrocoduckThe crocoduck is an imagined hybrid animal with the head of a crocodile and the body of a duck proposed by Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron. It became recurrent in debates involving creationists and proponents of evolution, being used as a symbol directed at those who do not understand the basic principles of evolution. Those 2 love their pseudoscience https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nfv-Qn1M58II'd love to hear their explanation of the coconut or pineapple

Why most of atheists here on this forum feel so threatened that they have to attack against religious world view all the time? Are they so insecure about their own world view? Why they are so scared? Its the labeling by Christians that causes people to get their backs up. If I do not believe I get labeled and that is the issue mostly. Besides most of the political threads turning into religious threads by page 10.

Tired of being pushed around? Yes! Atheists have almost never been pushed around by Christians. Rather, they have been invited, possibly scolded in a loving way, requested, enticed, and loved towards accepting and receiving eternal life for themselves. They call an invitation to eternal life an attack against them. Well, it might be, since all atheists are asking for is death for themselves. Oh sure, they are so subtle about it, that they don't even recognize what they are doing most of the time. Oh, well. Guess we'll simply have to let them have what they want. After all, even Jesus taught in ways that suggested to leave atheism, and other false religions, alone when their people were obstinately against eternal life. And He taught His disciples to shake the dust off their feet against unbelievers. I mean. Who has time to live life? Certainly there are people out there who will accept eternal life when invited. Allow those atheists to have the damnation they are asking for. Go after the people who will accept. For you Christians who read this, remain strong in your faith. Read the Bible regularly, or listen to it on Bible tapes and CDs. That is where your faith comes from. The Holy Spirit works faith through His Word. Keep on keeping on. and find more people to reach with salvation when those you invite continually reject. We are a Brotherhood/Sisterhood aiming for the skies.
