Its inflation...

Same with the masternodes and mining

Too many supply and no demand

Scarcity creates value!

So airdrop, masternode,... is not good for the price

Some members get airdrop but the most holders not, only people with a big amount of posts

I still received BSD yesterday, I'm not really sure if it is still part of the airdrop but AFAIK the airdrop has ended since some time ago. Anyone received BSD yesterday?
Anyway, thanks for the whole airdrop period for around 2 years. I'm wondering with the statement "use the addresses to send coins in the future", does it mean that all previous airdrop participants will be automatically eligible for the future (maybe) other airdrops?

I confirm i received 1.11 bsd in my airdrop address too.

Thanks bitsend team!

Are you kidding? What price pressure can be created by just 1.11 BSD?

I would only consider it as a kind of small tips

The BSD price is falling hard.
Any body knows what is the future of this project ? Any idea about the dev ?
I loved BSD and had projects for masternodes, but now... I'm not sure...

Is Limx Dev still around?
Yes, his last post made on 6th June 2019, and he was last actively in the forum yesterday.
Yes the Airdrop is now over but we want to use the addresses to send coins from time to time in the future.

We want to informe when we finish with the next core, electrum or insight.

Best Regards Christian

The dumpening is real with this one. Those airdrop coins used to be worth multiple hundred US dollars now i check the value and even though I hodled all the time and collected them all they are like $5 now. I am sad af. A mastermode costs how much now $300? Holy shit this is dying indeed.

Bittrex is really good at screwing over various projects. Some (few) of them survive and even thrive, others are falling into oblivion. The interesting part is - which route will this one go now...

Most astonishing is that the masternode count didn't significantly drop in this sell off days.  Shocked

They always do - they list and delist same tokens at the same time. There is a partnership between Bittrex and Dunamu (Upbit) - you can search "upbit bittrex partnership" in Google to find more info.
Some people even tell their order books are shared, though I am not so sure about that.

Not really, it makes sense. There is no staking so unless they can sell the coins, they might as well operate the nodes.
At these prices though, it's questionable whether the masternode income even covers the rented VM cost.
You might see the count drop once cloud service subscriptions start running out.

How much will it cost to rent a vps to operate a masternode? And what about one of those masternode services?

I think you can get about 15-20 bsd a day with a masternode, but at current price thats a little.

Usually VPS fee costs $5 per month, but it will become cheaper if you choose to pay fees at once for three-months, 6-months, or 1-year period. That depends on how long you plan to use VPS service and to keep your masternode actively operates. However, I agreed that nowadays, with masternode payment rates and price of Bitsend, it is unprofitable to run masternodes, but if you are a long term investors and strong supporters of BitSend, yes, you can keep operating your masternodes and also support Bitsend network.

It makes sense if you want to operate other masternodes but not only Bitsend or use it to setup your private VPN service, hosting or any other server. You can use masternode services but it is too expensive now.
