It makes sense if you want to operate other masternodes but not only Bitsend or use it to setup your private VPN service, hosting or any other server. You can use masternode services but it is too expensive now.

Each VPS has limited total masternodes, so one Bitsend masternode investors can not setup and run their 10 masternodes on the same VPS. It means they will have to pay for 2 or 3 time cost to run those 10 masternodes. VPS fees will increase simultaneously with total masternodes set up.

I remember i've read somewhere about one of those services, but i don't remember where... Anybody knows it? How much will cost a masternode there?

Why would you ever lose control of your funds? Sure you lock your collateral, there is no way around it.
But you can unlock and spend it any time. Of course, the masternode will cease to operate at that point.

Market cap became 176k on CMC. 1010th rank. The coin just went back its 2016 prices before everything started.

If this was still listed on a few decent exchanges I would say buy some but now we don't even have exchanges to trade this thing other than livecoin. It became so cheap if it ever reaches its ATH prices again, for every buck you spend on this,  you'll get like 270 more. Very impressive but also very unlikely.

I have never read anything about this kind of services.
It seems it is impossible to do because all the collateral must be sent in one transaction in a unique address.
Be carreful to not be scammed...

You don't need to do that. The funds are locked but in your control. All you need to provide to that service is some kind of masternode specific key that you generate and some transaction hash for the collateral.
They can't get your funds from that. Worst case scenario, they can steal your masternode payments but you'll figure it out almost immediately and stop the service.

Not enough adoption. It was pure speculation like most altcoins. No use case, copy/pasta code, no real development... LTC is the same but it was one of the first. (and it is still going down)

Look at crap like NANO, even though it is being shilled heavily it is still falling apart. What makes you think BSD has a chance in the current situation of the markets no? (there is literally no shilling going on for BSD)

Aw, I thought it is going to be around ~200BSD/day. If it is only around that, I do not think I can afford to pay the VPS server fee with it.

Hard times for altcoins since months, yes.
Bitsend is a trusted project, no problem about that : the dev is here since de begining and the begining is 2014 : an eternity for an altcoin, very longuer that Ethereum for example.
The problem with Bitsend is that the dev. is not very present on this thread*, the project is not very precise and the community is too small...

* the ban from bitcointalk moderators is not to help the project : very strange ban, like a lot of others olds accounts (specially the oldest with the bigger status).

BSD masternode collateral is 25000 BSD. So if the price goes back to $1, then masternode will cost $25000. You miss one number in calculation

There is the biggest problem is the low daily trade volume. Just $765. Delisting from Bittrex is not a good sign.
