Just walk around Your city, and investigate, who from product or service delivers was asked to be payd with bitcoins in last 3 years. Make a video about it and put on Youtube monetization, then spend the earned money on webmodels (or pay bills). So You will help the Bitcoin diffusion. |

I can follow your argument from an economically view. But not from a technically view. Currently, Bitcoin software is not ready to take so many transactions which would be created when everyone is spending his/her Bitcoin.

The main point of Bitcoin is that its users are free to do whatever they want with their Bitcoin without no central authority being able to do anything about it.
Do you want to hold for 20 years before touching your Bitcoins? Cool.
Do you want to spend your Bitcoins daily in stuff? Cool.
Anything else is just nonsense.

Currently, Bitcoin software is not ready to take so many transactions which would be created when everyone is spending his/her Bitcoin.
The BTC webcam live show site everyday have huge amount of BTC transactions, no problems with Bitcoin. |

If people will goes to buying bitcoins for products and services, then the exchange price will rise by growing ask, the investors are interested in the first person to promote "the spending" of BTC |

This topic ends to nothing, if you want to store your bitcoins its no problem, this is because there are also a lot of things you can do with your idle coins.
I think its very nice to hold them for profit but also for other opportunities like buying things.

No one will offer services for Bitcoin.
Spend Your Bitcoins.
Maybe the bitcoin protocol should include a "negative interest rate" to promote spending? Oh well, the protocol seems to be a deflationary ones, so storing of bitcoins is actually by design... |

I think there is some truth to the fact that we should use bitcoins to buy things as a way to promote BTC rather than just holding and trading coins.

Someone need make a PR on Energy production companies / Oil traders to offer their products it in BTC
If the oil will on sale in BTC, all other products and services become BTC prices very fast.
For the moment the Energy sales are in $ and €.
Gaddafi tried that with modern gold dinar, didn't end up too pretty for him. |

I think it is our best interest to do whatever we can to make bitcoin well known. There are lots of ways to do that including spending a little bit here and there.

I do spend my coins from time to time but I can't keep spending as there is not much that I need that I can pay for with Bitcoin. That's the whole thing.

No. Some of us are not good at figuring out what investments will beat inflation. For us, saving means losing spending power if we do it in fiat. However bitcoin gives us an option to save that does beat inflation. You use bitcoin how you want and yes, I do spend bitcoin. I also do things like make a bitcoin cold address for something I want but can't justify in my budget. I put what I can justify into that cold address and wait for the value of bitcoin to increase. Then when it has increased enough, import the private address and buy. I can't do that without holding them until bitcoin value has increased enough. You use bitcoin how you want to use it, I will use it how I want to use it. And that is the point of Bitcoin - Libre kind of freedom. |

Sorry, but this argument is weak. The webcam site is used by a small number of users. i was talking about all Bitcoin owners. if all would start to spend their Bitcoins then there would be hundreds of thousands of transactions additionally every day. Currently, Bitcoin software is not ready to take so many transactions which would be created when everyone is spending his/her Bitcoin.

This service run with all shit currencies trough EPOCH and SEGPAY, BTC trough exchanger and even SMS, cash terminals around the some countries, Webmoney. But paying there is a option, the public shows are going on live chat for free. |
