I think its not against the bitcoin, because you can spend the bitcoin and hold it, its both pretty good for the economy of the bitcoin itself, if you ask me there are nothing different about that.

To some extent it is true.Bitcoin is a money and should be treated like money but many of us consider it as an asset like gold which will increase in value with time.What really stop people from spending their bitcoins is that there are not many job available that pays salary in bitcoin and bit is hard to buy for common man so whatever bitcoin they get or have,they want to hold it to make profit by selling it when price is high

I think its the opposite holding your bitcoin is pretty good, if you hold your bitcoin now as a example you will make money for sure because of the halving that is coming.
Also spending can be good for the economy of course but this together is making the market price right ?
