i think that strong of bitcoin is not against of bitcoin because there a lot of people are buying bitcoin and then hold or storing their bitcoin for the future because bitcoin will be increasing its price too much faster in the near future and then i hope we will be get a big profit from bitcoin.
Storing bitcoin is actually going to make the transaction rate become slower and then if too many people store bitcoin without spending it's going to make bitcoin price become weaker, so storing bitcoin has some effect on the bitcoin itself |

I would stop storing it for two reasons: if I knew the price wouldn't rise anymore and if I had something useful to spend it on in my country. There aren't many things to do with Bitcoin here. I have already bought what was necessary and I don't mind spending it on random things now. I want to wait for the next year to see if we will have any price increase, and that'll be the time I'll take a decision.

If you don't understand the importance of people holding their coins, then you don't know how markets work. It's important because people holding their coins make sure it keeps a certain amount of coins off the market. And this is needed to create some sort of scarcity. If people pump all their coins into the market, then look at what will happen with the price. I can tell you that literally nothing will be left from the current price. |

- holding require you to buy bitcoin with fiat
- when you have bitcoin and stop spending or selling it again for fiat than supply will be limited
- if supply get limited and demand keep on increasing price can easily get pumped
So i don't think holding bitcoin is against bitcoin growth actually it is good for atleast price pumps.

its hard to trust new services but you can't tell people to do what they should/shouldn't with their money
In the city, where i live, and this city is a big Italian city, with over 500000 abitants, and multiple neiborghood, with other tousands of resident people, is the only 1 shop, that accept BTC (a computer shop) We can't tell anyone to do with their money, just give some suggestions. He has a point to spend bitcoin as fiat money always flow in daily life. But every one has their thought of it, if I don't have something to buy for, no need to spend my bitcoin instead using fiat money. We will spend our btc if there is something of desire. |

They your bitcoin and ypu can do what you want with them storing them is probably just an ok idea. Investing is better. Eventually you will spend stored bitcoin anyway. There will always be plenty people trading and buying and selling things so bitcoin will always be on the move and never in one place for too long.

this is one way to see it. but if everybody thinks so we know what will happen. if we all would give $1 we could make sure nobody starves for a year. sounds good and all agree. but then one clever guy decides to no give it since it will not matter. i think you know the rest of the story. |

There is no problem for me spending bitcoin. But why specifically do you need to spend bitcoin, if I have fiat money which is accepted in my country? Also I consider my Bitcoins as a personal saving in which is in my wallet for safe-keeping, one big problem is there are still no stores in my country who accepts Bitcoin as a mode of payment which really helps me in saving my bitcoin. |

if you can only hold bitcoin, then it is only interesting to investors. if you can pay everywhere with bitcoin, then it is interesting to everyone. in the second scenario demand is bigger and bitcoin is more worth. ho do we get bitcoin to the point where you can pay everywhere with it? by holding or by using it? |

Something that is very true. But I think both these things is simply a thought that certainly has advantages and disadvantages, for now I prefer to save the bitcoin than have to think about it. The most important right now for me is doing a promotion of may so that the growth of the bitcoin can be greater than it is now and I was able to get a very big result from storing bitcoin |

I think storing is not against the bitcoin alrotugh its not pretty good for the economy a lot of people are doing this because if the fact that the bitcoin is gonna rise in its price.
This price increase is because of the halving and people are waiting on it because of that.

You could always do both. Put some round amount in cold wallet and actively use the rest. Biggest problem is not many people have any sort Bitcoin earnings, that's currently the biggest obstacle in BTC adoption and it's use as currency. Sotring bitcoins is not against the bitcoin rules everyone has the oppertunity to do with his bitcoins whatever he wants to do you know and that is nice because i dont like to use bitcoins everywhere so i can hold some of them you know. |

Make merchants think that there is a good money spending here and they can profit from it. We are a community here and we already know what is bitcoin purpose so why not let it happen. |
