There is so much more then this.   I can think of a ton of digital currency that does not need to be physical... that is utter crap.  There are a ton of pump/dump alt coins out there.  I would not touch them.

Bitcoin is currently and has been like the gold of crypto currency.  It holds the most value, has the most companies going after it.  There is value behind it.  I think the value is what set's it apart.

Well the fact that has made my online life change from a living hell into a heaven in terms of functionality it's, it's highlight and it's just going to improve even more in the future. Many companies use it now and many are interested to acquire it. It's fee is a huge difference to other monetary ways. You can literally create it with computing power and couldn't be any cooler than that. It doesn't restrict you (for everyone). And the best one is, no government controls it.

If Bitcoin is only good because it "holds the most value", then that doesn't make it seem good.  You can theoretically pump some shitty P&D coin to the value of Bitcoin right now, does that make it any better?  Of course not, but people just see the price tags of something and automatically thinks it's better because it's a higher price.

Same thing happens in capitalism in general.  For instance some teenage girl goes to the mall and sees a fancy "name brand" purse that cost $1K, then her mom redirects her to another off brand version that only cost $20... The girl is always going to go toward the $1K purse because it's So-and-so's name brand... Does that make that purse better? Hell no, it's just a way of making the same product look better.

I see the same thing happening with bitcoin right now.

It is a speculative store of value.
If one looks at the way currencies are adopted, the unit of account comes last. 
It is too early for bitcoin to be a unit of account or the best currency of the work.
Only after it is widely used for transactions and store of value does it also become the unit of account.

You are right, bitcoin is too quick to gets it's reputations. Even before it gets spread across the globe or widely adopted by people, it gets more value and this must be a one simple reason for Bitcoin will be the best future currency.

bitcoin has been around longer than any other altcoin out there. so through these years any kind of problem, bug, ... has been found and fixed.

apart from all that bitcoin has the largest community in cryptocurrencies. with all the support from users and all the money invested in bitcoin, makes bitcoin better and most reliable coin of all altcoins.

virtual currency is not like real currency. because we live in modern era, in the future people want practical things. so bitcoin will be the best in the future

Imagine this scenario: you take an extended trip to three foreign countries. You don’t exchange currencies or pay the fees to do so. You spend your money without ever taking it out of an ATM or paying international transaction fees.

too a lot of germs and bacteria and even viruses, when we handle physical money. Test has shown traces of faeces and blood on most of the money we use, and even drugs like cocaine. Our cash is filthy and

Regarding bugs and germs, what do you think would happen when we all start tapping our phones en mass against NFC terminals? The same thing as with cash: Massive transfers of germs, bacteria and virusses.

The only way to avoid most of these (non airborne) is by making a truly wireless method that does not require any physical touch against a central terminal that touches more than one person.
