I requested my refund on the 13th of Jan. Dave answered me on 17th of Jan and told me that he added me to the btc refund list. No sign of my money yet.

This is sad ..wonder if we should setup a collection bounty at this point of time.

My bitcoin bASIC order ended up in address 19Ysizrie7XAGcqSTzhCTsMTuUaFU1hCEa. Several bitcoin bASIC refunds came from that address. As of now, 2/3/2013, that address is empty. I still haven't been paid. Perhaps there are no bitcoins left for bASIC to refund with.

So more evidence that the BTC payments were NOT converted to USD and thus you guys should be getting 100% of the BTC you paid into this failure, regardless of exchange rate.

I think at this point of time the exchange rate is the least of the concern. The real question is whether or not the BTC refunds will be processed.

No refund for me either. Early BTC order. No reply from Dave.
I'm off the project at this point, so I'm not answering emails related to bASIC (or eHasher). You can try logging into the btcfpga site and see if your order status is "Refund Requested". For a BTC order this means you are on the list. Best, Dave

Still no refund.
So... apparently bitcoinasic.net was purchased from Tom by some Canadian/Iraqi entity. Did they purchase our preorders from Tom as well? Or are those still sitting with Tom?
Basically I'm wondering where to hoist my pitchfork... towards Tom? Or this new company?
I'd imagine that if this company truly bought out Tom, Tom would now have the funds necessary to process his customers' refunds and reclaim his name/reputation.
Tom, if you're reading this, the ONLY way for you to come out on top is to simply refund your customers' money.
Thanks.

I logged in at btcfpga.com and noticed my Order Status was changed to: Payment Address Requested But I never received this email. I also checked the logs of my mailservers. Did anyone receive this request ?

Did anyone receive this request ? That is how my status looks as well doggie. Order history says "refund requested" details for the order say payment address requested. I believe this was Dave's doing before he left, I'm sure he will correct me if I'm mistaken. Upon seeing this I immediately sent a BTC repayment address(the same one I paid with) to BTCFPGA, this was on Jan 28. I've received no response of any kind since.

Find out the status of the BTC refunds.

No obligation, perhaps, but a bit of insight into this Ehasher project might be floating around somewhere. This "transition" has happened while a whole horde of us is waiting for BTC refunds and there has been nary a peep about it outside of the modifications to the BitcoinASIC website. Someone must know something. If not Dave, who?

sorry bout if someone was to take this thing to court all they would have to do is show that dave was willing helping tom to get rid of the cc refunds so he could run with the btc. and with most of the post on bitcion talk and the logs that otheres have of btcfpga website woudnt be hard to due.
i am sorry dave but like i said you put yourself in this sitiuation. i think you for all you work and i will but you in the end helped tom pull of this scam wither you realize it or not and for this i am sorry i just really dont want to see you draged under the bus for somthing that you thought you were doing was right.

You're going to threaten an innocent man, when you already know who the guilty one is? Talk about a bitch move. Why don't you leave Dave alone, and focus your efforts on Tom?

Now when you say "get rid of the cc refunds" you mean to return the funds to those that paid and later requested a refund correct? Dave has maintained all along that BTC refunds were not his to administer and he was required to submit them to Tom. If that's true then what was he(Dave) supposed to do? Are you suggesting he was wrong to do his job and return funds via CC because Tom still owed BTCs? I'm as peeved about this whole thing as anyone, but I don't understand the animosity being (mis)directed at Dave. If someone has some information that indicates Dave was more than just an employee of Tom's or that Dave acted inappropriately at some point then I'd love to see it. This just comes off as a witch hunt otherwise.

i am simply saying anyone could put two and two togather. As it looks right now it can be made dave assisted tom in the ablity to scam the btc by refunding the cc refunds. Althought he may have been doing his job he layed this ground to be open that he was assisting tom with the btc scam and all that somone has t prove was the cc refunds were made so that nothing could be done about this and to allow the btc scam.
