Someone in Europe refunded?

At least one person:
I suspect most refunds were made to those located in US. Thats because legally Wink there's little to be done for the non-US victims. I wish Tom the ripper would realize this offers him no protection.
Wrong, I'm based in Belgium

Tom is working his way down on the list he got from Dave with all the BTC refunds. He is refunding bigger and smaller BTC amounts

The exchange rate i got was around USD 30/btc , so it does appear he is using the current exchange rates.

Ugh, I hope I didn't get screwed by sending to the wrong emails.

I sent request to dave@bitcoinasic.net, tom@btcfpga.com, and tom@bitcoinasic.net on Jan. 12, then added btcfpga@gmail.com on Feb. 4.  No emails received from either Tom or Dave, and the "Payment Address Requested" status on the bASIC site leads me to believe I'm not on the "list".

So even if there will be a refund in the future, this means Tom screws us more every day we are waiting for a refund. What an asshole.

Well doesn't matter. I don't think there will be too many refunds at all.

You get get more "screwed" if the price goes up.  I wonder how many people would complain about not getting the exact number of BTC they paid if the price had gone down since they had ordered.  We ordered products priced in USD.

this is true but what we didnt order is for the unfairness of him deciding when its a good time to refund. like i have said all along weither price goes up or down he should use the btc price of a timly manner of his everyones being refunded i.e. 24hours to -weeks not 1-2 months after the fact.

Yes it was priced in USD but we requested refunds WEEKS AGO and want the exchange rate we had in that point in time.

Btw, I've order #76x and didn't get anything.
@Troc, when did you request your refund?

What if the exchange rate had gone down?

Tom owes me ~$8600.  I don't care if it is 8600 BTC worth $1 each, or a single BTC worth $8600.

We ordered products priced in USD.

I requested my refund when the price was at 14 USD. At 14 - not at 30!

OK, So please post your order number. In your case it's fine for Tom to wait the next 20-30 years before he is doing the refund. The buying power of your USD will be much less than today but that doesnt't matter. It seems that your are fine with this.

Hell no! The deal was buying a product and not giving an interest free credit. Do you really think what Tom is doing at the moment is good business?!

Exactly.  Still hopeful.  But going to check the address is painful, still, every time.

Order # is 8xx. Refund requested Jan. 12.

Nope, I won't wait 20-30 years.  I was going to take legal action against Tom, but he is now sending out refunds at a reasonable pace so I have put that on hold. Obviously if I don't receive a refund in what I consider a "reasonable" time frame, I will resume my plans for legal action.

Tom should be held accountable for not refunding the "appropriate" amount of BTC back within a couple days of it be requested.

True - some of of the BTC buyers may have cashed out right away when the coins were sub-20/usd.. but others that left it as BTC would have a nice little profit right now.. given that they were refunded when it was asked (-/+ 3 business days)...
