I thought that the Chinees where the biggest group that make use of Bitcoin. Maybe because of the fact that Russia is a big country and has allot of people I do not know why most Bitcoin users are Russian but someone has to be in the majority.

I don't think so that most of the bitcoin users where on russia ,but as i've observe many HYIPs are russian made .

On my own opinion most btc users are from china because of its creator of satoshi .also the factor that there are more advance unlike russians.

Can you provide authentic evidence of the above statement? Because I think bitcoin users evenly in various countries. Maybe you enter bitcoin forum that penetrated into bitcoin users in Russia or you are from Russia? thank you.

because most of russian are anomalous started  from poorest man in russian to there president. there main thought is to hurt someone and make bad things, not only here, in every business, in every jobs they are making, they only thinking only in one thing, to hurt someone.

I know I'm replying to an old reply to an old post but you must either be trolling or extremely racist (stereotyping, ignorant what have you..) to even say that.

Anyways back on topic in reply to the OP, I don't at all think that most of the BTC scammers out there are Russian or a single national identity for that matter. Remember that Bitcoin was made with anonymity in mind and for me I think that it would be hard to pinpoint the identities of anonymous scammers.

I think it's to be agreed upon that there are lots of Russian HYIPs out there but what do we call the HYIPs which are "non-russian", not so easy to classify right without giving bias? Russia has a very distinct knowledge that makes it stand apart from all the "English" HYIPs, this might very well be the reason why they stick out more.

Its very big and risky assumptions. First of all, russians are poor in general. That is causing the need for easy money and there is only couple steps from here to scam.
On the other hand, BTC-E, russian exchange, shady and stuff, doing really good in recent years. You never know with russians, they are special

Would be great to see statisctics of bitcoin users all over the world, but i think that in Russia where bitcoin is illegal percentage of users will not be so major.

I think most bitcoin users are not the people of Russia, very many bitcoin users from other countries are countless and I think China still has the largest bitcoin users besides russian 

Not surprised with this, they have the numbers in terms of population and chinese government supports.

I don't think that's a very good comparison to be honest.
That's actually a really bad statistics to identify the number of bitcoiners in a country because it's only here in Bitcointalk.

Let's see here. I'm pretty sure not all chinese people are in this forum because it's mostly dominated by English-speaking people.

Russia might be the country where bitcoin is much used even though the country has opposed it. But in reality I believe Chinese were the most users of bitcoin.
