Maybe he is thinking on BananoCoin which is fork of Nano,but this airdrop was from April 9 to April 30.Also there is another project and possible airdrop for Nano holders called Taraxa , so if you want to get some extra coins from airdrops based on DAG technology just follow crypto related forums,Reddit,Twitter...

I feel so bad I missed out on the bananocoin airdrop, are still gonna do some more airdrops though? Or is it already completed? Honestly when I first heard about bananocoin I didn't realize that people were really serious about making it into a reality. I thought it was just a meme inside the reddit threads but wow it's nice to see that nano has its own dogecoin and it's the bananocoin, will this coin start trading soon??. Now that you mentioned this, I've bookmarked the nano reddit because it seems like more conversations go into there than here which is disappointing, if someone was talking about the time span of the bananocoin airdrop on here, I could've been a part of the airdrop tsk tsk.

Hmmm..here is a good chance to become an early adopter. I think so because it's a really working project that could be useful for everyday payment. No fee and instant transaction!

Still XRB  didn't get its blue-vein but it is just round the corner as RaiBlocks technique is a real dimond cutter in the field of micropayments. Bloomberg  crypto index to be launched arguably this summer definitely helps as more whales in the making   would come into XRB and  crypto as a whole .

How much is known to me it is related to DAG technology on which Nano is built, so any coin who use DAG can make such forks/airdrops and give some extra coin to Nano holders.

The long standing bug with the wallet failing to shut down cleanly has been fixed. Previously, it would not properly close connections and allow the process to cleanly end.

Bandwidth usage should also draw down as we continue to make changes and optimizations to network propagation. This version should also significantly lower CPU utilization.

They have in plan to release "Yellow Paper" in April, but it is still not published on their site. So after April 30 when airdrop is finished there is only note that plans are : "More wallets, guides, yellow-paper and faucet game release&Many events and giveaways".

I do not know is there any future for Banano, but they total supply is 3.4 Billion coins which is only 10% of Nano supply. So maybe this can be a positive factor, but if you ask me I more prefer coins which have total supply in millions

By the way almost all coins are in red today, without exception for Nano - 17.50% down and just above 6$ value.

Crypto is an investment and as coin holders we are the equivalent of share holders, without hard core holders the price would fall to zero because outsiders aren’t interested right now.I believe in the tech, even though they have shitty market strategies the tech will keep it a float, now don’t expect amazing gains until thy get their stuffs together.

I agree with you, i think new people will be confused to find Nano thread in bitcointalk, because they don't know that Nano is Raiblocks in the past. Other media channel already changed raiblocks name to Nano except this thread
