The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

I tried using the new wallets but they are not that good on Windows 8.1.

I just reverted to the old 15.2 because the new wallets and UI either freeze while loading or are just completely not working.

I was still using 14.0 installed on external disk (windows) but it has crashed. Would you advise me to install 15.0? Is it better than 14.0 if you have tried it too? Idk why but I have issues all way long, the 9.0 was the only version I used with no problems. Sad(

There's minor improvements and I believe even the way the blockchain is loaded is different so once you run 15 you can't go back to running 14 again.

I just installed 16.2 and it works fine. The one I've been having problem with is the wallet that the official Nano site has listed. I don't know who the devs behind that one is but it definitely is different than the one in the Github.

That's weird. Ok, got it, means It's better to use GitHub. I'll try this one. I willreinstall this on my external disk once again and if it doesn't work I will be forced to install it on my Mac. The only thing I'm worrying about is I've read a lot that core wallets can harm SSD.  This is the source of all my troubles with wallets

This is encouraging when project attracts attention of specialists and developrs. Obviously none will waste his time for some blind-alley tech. Looking forward for hearing more news from China market, this can be a promising direction for Nano.

I run SSD on all my machines and even have a mini PC constantly staking and mining with core wallets. Even some really outdated core wallets and I have not had an issue with SSD and wallets.

You might have a RAM issue and your PC is using SSD space as backup RAM. 8GB in todays cryptospace is a minimum to run core wallets.

I've repeatedly experienced that, used Kucoin and Binance in this regard. NANO is awesome to send/receive funds between exchanges (due to negligible fee and almost instant confirmations).

Not just Nano alone but also whole market apparently has seen bottom, look like this. I have seen few posts with concern over price to hold $2. That is my opinion as well that after very tight and long correction markets have found support which has become their bottom. If anything goes wrong with media as usually FUD based articles by inexperienced writers sometimes disturbs the markets temporarily. In that case dip can be seen in all markets though very little chance, as we have to go up from this base price mots chances to happen.

Byteball, Nano, iota are the 3 main DAG based coins. Except iota is very centralized and if I understood correctly, facing some fundamental issues (but haven't looked into its tech in detail yet)
