Let's not.  Pretty much every altcoin is existence has called itself "the bitcoin killer" or something similar.  Just stop it's ridiculous.  Call it that when it actually happens because so far nothing has come close out of the thousands(i don't even know how many alts there are now)that already exist.  That's called jumping the gun.

Yes definitely not 'The new bitcoin' ..i personally think btc-xrb = gold-money.. both are similar in characteristics and value..bitcoin with huge value and xrb with fluidity 'fast' transfer and almost zero fees

Another clone really? This project is not even trying to be btc nor competing with it, btc is like the father of cryptocurrency while this coin is just starting to get notice by the public. If you've read the roadmap but I doubt you did then you'll realize that this coin is not a clone coin because this is very different from bitcoin in a lot of ways, first it offers zero transaction fees next you can't get this coin through mining, the only way to get this coin is to buy it on an exchange, next with raiblocks there's only two parties involve and that's the sender and the receiver so you don't need to rely on the miners to get your transactions confirmed, next it offers instant fast transactions, you can already receive your xrb in seconds, there's still more so I suggest you reading the whitepaper so you'll realize how different this coin is from bitcoin. What dumped are you talking about? Bitgrail's been offline before too that's why the current price is still $1.72, the site just been online for a couple of hours now and I think some people are still having problems with it so it's quite reasonable for the price to be at that amount at this current moment because people still can't trade properly on there. With the updates that's coming within the next few months, it's quite mad to just dump this coin at the current price.

I think $10 very possible because this project have good teams and development. I will hold this coin for long term, maybe in the future XRB price can reach $20

I'm wouldn't sell at $10, not even at $20. I holding for Ether type #'s. Don't underestimate $XRB. This can potentially change the game. Can't wait for further development.

I agree with you, the distribution for XRB just ended in 2 month ago, and seem the team more agresive for development this project. In roadmap they said that in this month mobile wallet will be release and XRB will listing in 4th exchange. So the potential of this project i think big

Been having problems trying to build RaiBlocks Wallet on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, I already saw the instructions provided but still coming up on errors.

Anyone have a better guide? Or how to use the wallet provided for Linux 64bit? The wallet for Linux 64bit does not open.

Backup seed, save old data.ldb & check data.ldb. I have reports it's working well on Mac (don't have one to test).

Bitgrail is back online as of 7:00 pm EST.  Too bad the coin has doubled since I deposited BTC to buy some the other day. Oh well, this XRB has legs and will continue its ascent.  At least can buy during the dip at $2.85

Just look at the marketcap of iota. well, iota isn't working, you can do 25 transaction per second lol. no machine can ever work like that.
okay, you've done that. now look at the supply of coins. Great, it's massive. Is this good? Hell no.
Now compare it to Raiblocks. It works, it has a working wallet (which get's a 'shiny' upgrade any day now!) it can do what, 7500 tx per second?
Now we look at the coin supply of raiblocks. A measly 133,248,290 XRB. Compared to 2,779,530,283 MIOTA.

That's roughly 1 XRB vs 20 IOTA.

Well, let's just say this: If the market cap only slightly increases in terms of iota marketcap (    $10.045.222.443 ) vs raiblock market cap ( $374.066.593) this shit will explode. Guess what happens if it goes to a third or even half the marketcap of iota. BOOM

Now, when IOTA will be the 'boring' machine stuff ( IF it ever works, iota is still experimental and the devs attitute clearly suck ) then Raiblock will be the people to people currency. A lot of people will see Raiblocks for the first time when it appeares on the big exchanges, binance, bittrex, bitfinex. Then they start to research it. If only ONE big iota investor sees this coin and the supply, he will buy. a lot. regardless of bitcoin prices.

On other words, btc could rally to 30k, it doesn't matter, whales are gonna fight for this coin because the supply is so fucking low. (And with the faucet distribution I guess a lot of coins are already lost)

No small exchange can handle that volume. The people selling on bitgrail right now are the poor venezuelan guys who are scared. The reason why it doesn't skyrock anymore is pretty simple: DEPOSITS ON BITGRAIL ARE SUSPENDED, so no one has money to buy.
