Ripple Completes $50 Million MoneyGram Investment, Supporting XRP Use for Global Payments
Whilst I really like XRP, and I'm very bullish on it long-term, this is yet another instance where there is good news that has absolutely no immediate impact on price. XRP price behaviour is unusual. Not saying there's anything suspicious about it at all, it's just a bit strange, and not what you'd expect given how other coin prices react to news.

Is it wise to invest in Ripple? I see that the coin is growing, it will even be used by the moneygram. But still a lot of negative rumors
The three rounds of investing in Ripple finished years ago. ( Beneficiarys of xrp sales, (seed investors)) The only thing available now is to buy xrp at high inflated price and the money goes to Ripple investors. That is what Ripple investors, invested in to receive money form xrp sales. moneygram, you demonstrate that you totally clueless, crypto is peer to peer (person to person) transaction without high fee sucking middleman

"The existing Visa credit card network processes about 15 million Internet purchases per day worldwide. Bitcoin can already scale much larger than that with existing hardware for a fraction of the cost. It never really hits a scale ceiling." Satoshi Nakamoto, April 2009 Avoiding taxes is totally legal if you consider and respect the law.

It seems to me that ripple just uses moneygram because the service of the latter does not have such a good time like paper and other money transfer systems. Cryptocurrency transactions can take their leadership position, so those services and banks that agree to consider cooperation and work on digital assets are more likely to increase their liquidity.
If such cooperation will accelerate transactions, then I look positively at this situation. I heard that a ripple coin cannot be considered decentralized. I do not understand, but even if this is true, then in spite of this there is a benefit for consumers. So far, the moneygram have complicated maintenance. Especially for single transactions, they arranged checks, as to me, when a client sent money for work. the amount is small and the problems are big. It took 20 minutes to explain who he is and where the money came from.

Such issues are usually related to the fight against money laundering. This is legal but greatly undermines the trust of customers, I agree. That is why I plan to continue to use crypto transfers and friends, clients to offer such a payment method. A taklimakan platform has also appeared well, where you can learn everything about cryptocurrencies and even learn how to trade using the strategies of more experienced investors. I think while moneygram or similar companies find a companion for the blockchain or create their own coin, many people will actively use the blockchain without waiting for better times.
Yes, these services decided to cooperate, yes, someone calls ripple fraudsters. But what's next? I care about the fact that you can send money all over the world with great speed, while it is immediately clear that they reached the addressee, and were not detained, as banks sometimes do, to clarify the circumstances. Who will serve is not so important. Cryptocurrencies simplify this process and this is important. I will use them ripple processes payments quickly, it’s true, but will there be trust in a system where you can’t even easily become a validator, it is determined on indicators unknown to a simple user. Such manual control can always be the cause of corruption schemes. Of course, his technology will find widespread support. Because they are lobbying for people involved in money laundering. What does the moneygram want in such conditions? to retain customers, any, even who work is not very legal Yes, because BTC has inherent resistance to illegal use, lol (except BTC is actually used for 93.71% of all illegaly crypto activities)

Ripple’s Philippines corridor indicates spike in ODL transactionsRipple’s On-Demand Liquidity [ODL] platform has been reporting heightened transactions on the Bitso platform while facilitating XRP/MXN trades. However, according to new data curated by Mourad Toumi, XrPeace, and Labo-a-crypto-3.0. on Utility Scan, an increased USD-PHP on-demand XRP volume was noted.https://eng.ambcrypto.com/ripples-phillippines-corridor-indicates-spike-in-odl-transactions/

I think XRP is almost guaranteed to have widespread use. Anything that offers a commercial competitive advantage, such as XRP and the related Ripple products, with their time savings and cost savings - will be used. Companies that don't use XRP will be left behind, with the choice of either adopt XRP and Ripple solutions, or else remain at a disadvantage.

I share your opinion, BUT banking sector is a bit different...they have pretty big leverage against anything, and won't adopt anything unless they can get big chunk out of it...so my guess there's a lot of stuff going behind the scene They won't allow newcomer like Ripple to become biggest company on Earth just like that...Ripple will have a lot of legal bribing to position themselves as major player

Did anyone received an email about gatehub being hacked? I rarely read my email but this one reminds me of my gatehub which I have stored some XRP there. Not much really as I have tried it before 2017. Recently, our Security Team learned additional information in relation to the June incident affecting some of our customers that we emailed you about in July. As we continued to investigate, we found evidence that the following information on your account was accessed without authorization: unique account id, email, date of account creation, hashed password1, encrypted account key2 and encrypted recovery key3.
Any other information such as: encrypted XRP ledger wallets secret keys, phone number, address, nationality, citizenship, ID document(s), proof of residence document(s), date of birth, place of birth, or other information was NOT compromised.
This is part of the email. But I'm beginning to think this is just to ask for the KYC documents, I'm yet not willing to send documents to them but maybe if its worth thousands of USD already.

They seem to be sending it out to anybody that registered with them years ago but no longer use them. Many people moved on and used other tools and software for accessing their XRP but Gatehub seem to keep sending these emails out every so often informing people their website was hacked.
