The litigation could take years, no definitive time-frame has been provided. The SEC is not the one deciding anything in Court. The judge will make a decision in due course.

Well it is a risk, either you hold or you sell you have to make a choice but with the recent news about the SEC having a setback against Ripple it seems like this could be the start of something big for the XRP price.

We have to wait and see.

well, I know that it's still quite far off it's all time high. I simply see it booming, so any thought it's a good time to put money into ripple?
I have no clue about whether it will rise moreover. I also think there is room for other great projects.

Binance does not hold over 50% of the total XRP supply. The graph shows lots of trading at Binance which is excellent news for Ripple and also for investors holding XRP.

Well it is a risk, either you hold or you sell you have to make a choice but with the recent news about the SEC having a setback against Ripple it seems like this could be the start of something big for the XRP price.

I'm getting confused whether am I holding or selling? Is it good idea to sell a fraction to get the investment back in case it tanks after receiving negative news. XRP is on riding based on recent SEC update, their nothing solid reason except this.

   Sell at the top, might be a much better advice.

It's normal for such a large market cap to pump like this? Who has enough fiat to sustain that for so long? CBs or some HFs going brrrahhh?


What is going on with the 65 billions coins not released? they will drip them on gullible hands?

edit : okay back in, hope to take some profits (to cover my night loss) at 1.89ish and final sell order at 1.9999, but if I again get stopped out, definitive bye.

It appears the angel investors and the venture capitalists are ready to cashout their equity on Ripple. This is beginning to be a similar storyline as the .com IPO bubble that happened between 1995 and 2000 where many of those companies were based on hype.



The price saw a strong uptick overnight after it emerged that the payments company is considering a public listing as soon as its dispute with the SEC over the status of XRP is settled.

The IPO news was revealed by Yoshitaka Kitao, CEO of Japanese financial giant SBI Group, Ripple’s largest backer, in an earnings call.

“After the current lawsuit, Ripple will go public,” he said, explaining that the company’s founders were in favor of the move.

Ripple founder and CEO Brad Garlinghouse teased a potential public offering for the company last year, calling it “a natural evolution for our company.”

Despite the immense amount of XRP whales they do have an effect on the market, which can produce a sustained annual price rise, if one takes into account that this occurs in the middle of a lawsuit from the SEC the behavior of the currency it is to be admired. The demand has grown so much that it has increased by approximately 40%.

If the Bitcoin market goes into a bullish trend it is very likely that XRP of new ATH.

Actually, scams pump the best during bull run. You probably meant to say "busted scams"

Well at the level of market speculation, do you think that if the SEC wins the lawsuit, the price of XRP would go to the ground then? without any recovery? Many may think that way, but at the market speculative level I see it very well, even better than many projects, I do not know if it will be because of the time that XRP has been in history, but everything is unpredictable. At least I see it that way, because many who are not investors only trade, they see cryptocurrencies not as the potential that they can develop but as speculative market instruments, that is, how much can be taken out of it if it rises or if it wins.

I was not calling Ripple a scam. However, promoting that it is decentralized by its own developers is the scam. Also, when you tell the community this, they appear to attack bitcoin’s flaws to transfer the attention away from Ripple’s centralization.

I think that XRP the bulls have not entered into action due to the uncertainty of BTC, it is normal, it is not fear, it is caution, maybe in the short term things look a bit dark, the important thing is that now you can be patient and not rush in selling massively.
