A fully functional LISK with delayed launch is better than an imminent launch of a faulty LISK.

I agree that is better to wait more for better quality then to hurry with launching. For long run everyone knows what is better to do. Launching is for one month, I don't think we can see much higher price after that happen. Between 1.5 $ and 3.5 $ for opening and couple days after. I think Lisk can grow after so I will keep my little amount a bit longer then that for sure.
1.5 $ and 3.5 $ is too optimistic.
may be max $0.75

The value of LISK on the long run will depend only on how much demand there is for it.

There are 100 million LISK. If one LISK is worth $1 then all lisk are worth $100 million. I dont think that is a reasonable valuation.

If ten percent of lisk are being sold for 1$, you have a volume of 10 million, but a marketcap of 100 million. Doesn't look too unrealistic to me.

But, truth be told, I don't think it's going to be 1Lisk=1$. At least not in the beginning.

Do not forget that 100 millions lisk is the actual number we have, and that inflation is going to kick in once lisk is released, increasing the number of lisk for quite a bit in the first few years.

LISK is probably gonna plunge at the launch

As BTC, the king of crypto, returns, other altcoins are destined to succumb.

I really consider getting in ICO but I chose not to,

1) it's just copy of Crypti
2) all big talks, no valid Dapps, not even main blockchain is secure
3) All smart contracts are bullshit, BTC alone can do anything, and BTC itself is too complicated, yet do you expect public to digest what smart contract is??
That's too wishful thinking. Whatever you can do with Ether, or altcoins, BTC can surely do the same thing.

Now Ether price goes down as BTC price goes up,
By then end of May, BTC should be around $500.
It's good for big scammers who holds BTC but for ICO investors? I don't think so

This by the way, could be a way to sell lisk before launch for those who don't mind to wait for their BTC:

Maybe the seller could send a certain amount of btc to the escrow as well. If the deal goes through, the seller gets all the btc, if not, the buyer gets his_her btc back plus the btc of the seller.

Wonder what people think of most of the alts falling and how it will affect Lisk's price. Lisk speculation was quite tied to Ethereum, and now Ethereum is near its 1 month lows. I believe it will affect Lisk's price as well, pushing it down. I don't see the market changing significantly in the next week or so.

The wealth of cryptocurrency as a whole, is essentially dependent on $ turned into bitcoins. That being said, many experienced traders would hedge their bets, by reducing Ether stacks to have some Lisk coverage too unless if they participated in the Lisk ICO. Since Lisk is likely only traded for BTC, then traders will have to hold some Bitcoin.

That being said, it could also be due to Bitcoin halving, with the market predicting Bitcoin as undervalued. If it is because of Bitcoin halving, once markets reaches the true speculative price, then there will be movement back to Altcoin.

By the time LISK releases, I hope the alt coin market will be back to normal.

LISK is no longer a copy of Crypti - so many changes have been made that make it differ.

With launch a comparison table/infographic will be posted by devs

Lisk has missed its window, potential was $2-$3 before, now is .10 to .25 cents. Lisk devs have forced us all to be true believers, but most people are getting out of this shit show the moment it launches.

They had a short window and failed.

Those looking for a "window" to dump are never going to do very well in crypto. These are the people rushing to get out too early.

I bet those same people, who participated in ETH crowd-sale, sold ETH at 0.0025 when it launched.

For sure using a relatively proven Crypti as a base under LISK on which to build, really speeds up development.

My first impression of LISK pushing back the release date was one of bad timing, as BTC is moving up and generally alts will go down.
But that ICO BTC is not going to LISK until May 24th (and I'm not sure what the breakdown is at that point. The ICO ended on March 21st I believe and at that time BTC was at $411.
That equated to roughly 6 or so million I think. (Not sure if the Crypti coins affect that number much.) Right now BTC is at $465, which is 13% higher. That is around $780,000 more.
I get the feeling BTC is going to keep going up till the halvening (and beyond.) So, LISK is going to have substantially more money to play with. Remember, Ethereum didn't sell in time
and it cost them (though they are more than fine now I heard.)

My point is that the delay looks like it is going to help the LISK team. We will see what it does to the ICO holders.

BTC = Black Swan.
BTC = Antifragile - "Some things benefit from shocks; they thrive and grow when exposed to volatility, randomness, disorder, and stressors and love adventure, risk, and uncertainty. Robust is not the opposite of fragile.

After the hype of Ethereum is over, I pretty guess that Lisk will lose attraction, too. I predict a price under $0,50. Probably even under $0,30.

No freakin way, there will be dumpers but as quick as they dump on the other side will be people collecting those dumps from the weak hands.
