Waves alpha mainnet launch timeline

Our ICO is over and now it’s time to proceed with the network launch. As you probably have already noticed we’re always trying to move fast. But at the same time we need to make sure that everything works properly, which is especially important for decentralized p2p networks such as blockchain systems. We need to be certain that the network is stable and we accounted for all the future developments.

So the timeline for the next several days is the following:

No doubt there will be a lots of people dumping too. I'm expecting waves pump and dump until we reach the target value enough to hold our waves. If not, we'd probably hit where lisk are.

My thoughts exactly, IMHO I think Waves launch will be the same as Lisk Launch, except for the failures ofcourse. Price wise I think Waves could rise sooner as they only really focus on one thing whereas Lisk will need a lot of time to create their ecosystem

Well you have to ask yourself: Are you going to swap one Wave for one Lisk? I know I am not going to do that.

In the near future developers will add the ability to create ICO account or change the address on the ICO account.

Tomorrow the main net client will be launched and users will be able to generate addresses to withdraw their tokens.Then they will start processing withdrawals on Friday.

Same here. I believe it is always like that. Most of the early investors for any ICO usually dump their coins especially if they got any amount of profit from it. That's a very good thing for us (long term investors) to buy cheap coins that are being dumped.  Weak hands will also be shaken off at the start of trading day. Cheap wave coins will shower upon us.

No offence but no coins should be released till the mainnet can handle any amount or you will have one f888k up.Can they handle the number of requests at once or will that crash their system

Im sure their System can handle it, all they need is few more severs to balance the traffic. 1 server will not be enough for sure.
