15% is a bit high don't you think? Bitland is like 10% (2 million of 20 million coins). Same with Rise at 10% - which seems to be more normal for ICOs. I'm NOT trying to fud. I'm still investing in Waves. just saying though...

I think that is pretty reasonable myself, As you can see the 15% is NOT only for the developers but for bounties etc. So anyone involved in the promotions will also benefit. I am in the twitter and fb and subsription promotions.

We try our best to prevent the issuance of IOUs on whatever exchange. The goal is still the same: Have a mainnet up and running at the end of ICO so that you can at least send your 'real' WAVES to an exchange and trade it.

OK. Noob to ICOs here. I already love my WAVES and have grown attached to them. Lol

What I would like to do, is hang onto them after the ICO launches. I assume we would be able to start trading them on a REPUTABLE exchange when the time comes.

Sooooo, my question is this: will WAVES appreciate in value as I hang on to them? Or is it all a gamble on whether the price will go down or up?

I know nobody can predict the future, but what happened with previous ICOs with the same magnitude and popularity as WAVES?

Lol nice plug Im stating away from myceeum crowdsale though. If you send bitcoin there then the balance doesnt show  plus currently 1 BTC will get you 0.005%  lol which is absolutely nothing   No real opportunity for returns lies withing waves or Lisk if you got them
