I was recently on Instagram and found the waves platform advertising it's ICO fundraiser. Honestly I felt it a bit sneaky considering it could well be funded using the prospect of funds which are already invested, which then may be diluted as a result. Could you explain this and whether you feel this is appropriate?
As for social and any other advertising you see atm, it is effort from the team members, supporters and the ones who applied for bounties. ICO funds will be available only after enabling investors to withdraw their tokens and then we can start planning advertising campaigns after knowing whole budget. If anything is paid atm, these are personal expenses. I'm bringing this up again as I see that WAVES is now sponsoring the Ethereum meet-up. If these are personal expenses I do not expect ANY of the ICO funds to go towards paying back these costs. I whole-heartedly object to any significant advertising during the remaining period. Doesnt matter. They could simply compensate their 'personal expenses' with ICO funds after it is released from escrow. Why else would they invest their personal funds in advertising if they didnt expect a return on their investment? So I agree, it can be seen as using ICO funds to dilute those who invested in the ICO. Disappointing if you ask me.

Is anyone else seeing long delays in time it takes for contributions to the ico to be credited?
I've sent over 50 payments and have never had a problem until now. Payments always showed up within minutes and were fully credited not long thereafter.
I sent a payment over an hour ago and it is still not reflected on my personal ico page. I thought I would post about it here to see if others are experiencing a similar thing or if my situation is unique. Also to alert the team about it if it is something that needs to be investigated.
I'm sure it is something that will be resolved. Let me know if there is something I need to do to resolve it.
Thanks!

Payments are always showing after 2 confirmations. Right, I understand that it takes 2 confirmations for payment to be fully credited. I've done this over 50 times. In the past, the pending payment showed up within minutes and then confirmations were tracked one at a time until fully confirmed. What is different today is that two hours now after I've made a payment, it is still not showing on my page. That has never happened before. For it to take so long. So I'm just checking in to see if this is an issue others are experiencing and what I should do if this doesn't resolve by itself. If I should correspond with you or someone else privately to investigate at some point, please let me know. Thanks.

QIWI is a largesr payment company in EU traded on NAsDAQ exchange ... If they will get a deal with waves then you can expect the BIG gain for the project and rapid increase of the cost of the tokens!

That may be true however I intended to address the more broad policy rather than on a case by case basis. Not to mention significant strategic partnerships during crowdfunding are likely to significantly dilute share value. Just look at the mycelium announcement (shortly after someone invested 880+ BTC). At-least those who invested earlier in the cycle are gaining some benefit in the adjusted bonuses.

I checked it, transaction has 0 confirmations on BTC blockchain, something on exchange side, i adviced the man to open support ticket there. Good news. All is well. The payment is now showing up on my ico page. It could very well be because the btc network is backed up that is took so long. So just to assure anyone who might experience a similar delay in payment processing, it could very well be related to a slow btc network. Every other payment of mine showed up within minutes even if it took some time after that for them to be fully confirmed. So that appears to be the norm. But if for some reason your transaction isn't showing up even after a few hours, don't panic. It is most likely because of slow btc network. I appreciate your speedy help mxxxxxx!
