So I just wanted to say, I have been a silent lurker for like 5 years, and have been investing in ICOs since ether but have been holding BTC for 4 years (dont want to disclose how much but I believe a moon can happen), anyways I wanted to come to say thanks to the devs for all their hard work so far, this token has some serious promise once you get bank backing of some form, and I know you guys will, your being compliant and I LOVE that.

So far I have 2.5 btc in on day one for the ico, and I have been throwing my change at it since~

I can't wait to see what Waves becomes.

I am also very optimistic about WAVES, our ROI will be of epic proportion. This is one of the best project I can really vouch.

OK. Noob to ICOs here. I already love my WAVES and have grown attached to them. Lol

What I would like to do, is hang onto them after the ICO launches. I assume we would be able to start trading them on a REPUTABLE exchange when the time comes.

Sooooo, my question is this: will WAVES appreciate in value as I hang on to them? Or is it all a gamble on whether the price will go down or up?

I know nobody can predict the future, but what happened with previous ICOs with the same magnitude and popularity as WAVES?

Everyone is hoping for a price appreciation, but who knows? it is likely that many will at least sell a portion of their holdings at launch and continue to hold a bit for the future. Once the Waves team launches the Waves platform, they have the possibility to access funds and start working on building and developing for DAOs for Waves or bring new features to the platform etc. Things are looking good and everyone has high hopes for what Waves will bring the coming months. Of course it's all a gamble, and the project could crash tomorrow and everything comes burning down. With that said, many have invested predicting a nice ROI and so far it's looking promising.

There's a lot of money flowing into ICOs right now. No one knows if that will be good or bad for the price of waves AFTER the ICO. With so many people investing in waves, there may be high expectations of an increase in price once trading starts on open markets, and if the prices don't skyrocket at launch, investors might decide to dump so they can pump the next big thing. you can't really tell but from experience (and according to tai zen who I really appreciate) ICOs always bring some sort of ROI. Might be higher might be lower. Can't really think of any ICO in recent history that ended up with a loss on launch day.

From my understanding the 50 post are to be anywhere on the forum and not specifically limited to this thread. The goal is to inform people on other threads of the existance of Waves.

It's pointless to write a non-relevant post here in the Waves official thread, in order to get stakes with the WAVES signature because if you are on this thread then obviously you know about Waves and it kill the marketing objective.

I see the 50 posts as an icentive for people to post in other threads and give visibility to the Waves project in order to attract more potential investors.
If there is to be pointless "for the stakes" posts on this thread, I'd suggest to get this thread moderated to get rid of those posts.

You are right that posting in other threads and participating in other subjects is a better way to promote Waves. That's the general idea, but people shouldn't go around spamming any threads or trolling just to add to their post count.

If you see pointless, irrelevant, off topic posts and the like, feel free to use the "report to moderator" button and help clean up the thread!

Register for the campaign, change your signature and your good to go. The campaign is for 50 posts, it's just easier to accomplish if you started early rather than at the end of the campaign.

- 200000 tokens reserved for following official WAVES account on Twitter.
- 200000 tokens reserved for joining official WAVES Facebook group.
- 100000 tokens reserved for translations and maintaining national WAVES threads.
- 200000 tokens  reserved for subscribing to WAVES newsletter at wavesplatform.com website.
- 300000 tokens reserved for signature campaign participants at Bitcointalk.

The token distribution to supporters will take place after the end of ICO, WAVES support team will be contacting all participants and arranging
the bonus transfer.
