ICO will end on 31 May. I think detailed White Paper can involve additional BTC to an ICO.
As example, I don't decide how much I should invest to this ICO and I collect any information about the project.
And that White Paper can be very helpful.
So, better late May, then early June.

Ethereum took about 6 months (give or take) to get to their high of $15. Investors will make their rash decisions early on to dump waves for the next promising ICO, but now I think patience is going to be important for a lot of the upcoming projects. This is a long term project along with so many others that are just being released.

Waves will not be $10 in a few weeks, Only BTC and ETH have been equal to $1 Billion marketcap. If you cannot wait more than a few weeks, don't invest just to give your waves at a cheap price to some whale...

The Ethereum ICO started in 2014, so roughly 18 months to hit its ATH.

There you go. That's the point. Promising projects aren't going to be a hit from the start. It takes time and a ton of community support. Even the DAPPS being developed from Ethereum and Lisk are going to take time before they reach their high's. Sure the price might soar initially but wait until the general public become introduced to this technology. That's what we should be looking forward too.

An ICO is a risk yes but not a scam. Something can only be defined as a scam once the said scammer disappears without a trace which is clearly not the case. That's why anyone who knows a thing or two about investing will tell you to only invest what you are willing to lose.

Wise words! ICO's are high rish / high reward if you have the guts to not get dragged in the FUDs and keep your head calm if coin drops for example to half it's value - if you believe in a project just be patient!

At this point Waves has generated around $3m from the ICO. There is a lot of upside still to come. It could easily go up 30x or more in a 1 - 2 year time frame.

So I just wanted to say, I have been a silent lurker for like 5 years, and have been investing in ICOs since ether but have been holding BTC for 4 years (dont want to disclose how much but I believe a moon can happen), anyways I wanted to come to say thanks to the devs for all their hard work so far, this token has some serious promise once you get bank backing of some form, and I know you guys will, your being compliant and I LOVE that.

So far I have 2.5 btc in on day one for the ico, and I have been throwing my change at it since~

I agree with you Sir, you are definitely right it is a risk and we should need to have some patience in it. All ICO takes time to grow just like Bitcoin and Ethereum and you have to believe in the project if you really want a big reward..
