Does anyone know if it's possible to NOT send your waves to the lite client and just wait for an exchange and then send the waves directly from our ICO site to that exchange?

Thanks in advance

Yes. You can rest easy, because your Waves in a safe place on ICO account. Later, you can use address from the exchange where the trading Waves and calmly send your tokens directly to exchange.

Guys we have way too many invalid Waves addresses in the profiles. Please check your Waves address again since soon we'll be processing withdrawals.

We added address verification now but some people managed to type some wrong Waves addresses still.

how can we check if its invalid?

Just make sure you're fully imported Waves address in your ICO account, all symbols, and so on.

Double check your address (there is an icon in wallet to directly copy your address to clipboard (right of the address) so there is no way you miss a char!

@twiggy Thanks for your fast reply, but are you a representative of the WaVeS team? You have a fairly new account.

And why would anyone send it to another wallet first. Lisk went wrong on that, but okay in the end.

I'm an unofficial employee. But if you do not believe me, then you can always use Waves slack chat if you have not done so Wink

Just send Direct message to @mx in Waves slack channel and you can learn a lot of interesting things about the project, including info about me.

Waves slack channel - http://wavesplatform-slack.herokuapp.com for registration without invite or https://wavesplatform.slack.com/

You can do whatever you like with your waves. You can leave tokens in your ICO account and come back to them in a few years to send it on exchange. In the near future will be able to withdraw only part of Waves from your ICO account.

Withdrawals will be semi-automatic. Why? To control all process, to avoid problems.

To avoid the LiSK troubles of course. If everyone kept their tokens on the Waves ICO wallet site. You can bet it would DDOSed hard as trading started to open up. If lots of users have setup a lite client on their home machines, odds are they can send and move their coins a lot easier than hoping that the ICO site doesn't go down in flames.

I second this, thanks for the patience and professionalism the team showed!

Wolf Rainer, I got my lovely sig Waves - your witch hunt against those who made an honest mistake in changing their sig was shameful. In the future, spend your time on more productive things that help the community.

Got my social media and newletter bounty.
Waves lite wallet address creation worked fine

A big thumps up to the waves team!

Just another question:
Will there be an additional bounty for those, who have a matching newsletter AND ICO email address?
