Another huge problem is this BTC transfer from the lite client, the fee paid to miners needs to be fixed because I've been waiting over two hours now for a transfer that is still sitting on 0 confirmations, this is unacceptable.
Same. I am at 6 hours now. Someone in Slack said he waited 36 hours I can't seem to find where the BTC transaction ID is because we are sending a BTC token to the Waves gateway address and no BTC transaction id is provided, only a Waves transaction ID. As for people saying BTC transactions are slow, they are only slow if you don't pay enough s/BTC for the miner's fee. Waves is paying 100 s/B and it needs to be paying A L O T more. Around 280 s/B would make the transaction go through in 1 block or 15-30 minutes. I paid the premium fee of .002 and it's slow too .. 1.5 hours and still nothing It's not about the fee I think, I sent 2 times and both was delayed for 18 hours -2 days, this must be improved much. Anyway, Waves is doing very good, many positive milestones have been deployed recently so target $10 could be reached by the end of this year IMHO  |

I'm not on fok forum, lurking. I dont know how it works, you seem well connected.
Might be an idea to put in the sticky post Waves as an exchange (apart from the exchanges mentioned) to give it some more exposure?
After all Waves platform is an exchange. The ones mentioned are all centralized.

Even though Waves could improve the gateway speed by increasing fee's you still have the usual bitcoin delays... which right now are terrible. I've waited hours and hours for transactions to go through from all different wallets and exchanges. The problem is ultimately bitcoin scalability not Waves. Although they should increase transaction fees to help ease the problem. On the other hand don't let this distract from the speed of the Waves blockchain! It is crazy fast! I love sending Waves tokens around the blockchain I see the transaction in my wallet pretty much instantly and its confirmed in 30-60 seconds. It's so nice to be able to trade on an exchange and and have the coins I'm selling go from my wallet, trade and the new ones appear in my wallet (under my control) within seconds! Imagine how that will effect people trying to catch a pump/dump. No need to leave your precious bitcoins on exchanges waiting for that next Gox moment. DEX is going to change the face of crypto trading. |

Yeah, it's so fast, it's almost like trading on any centralized exchange. It's a game changer: trading while keeping your coins in your wallet. It's resolving all the issue we got from the past (Mt. This is a bug in the GUI right now that is being worked on. Right now i think the only way is via python script. If you sign up to the Waves Slack and join the #leasing channel I'm sure someone can talk you through it. https://wavesplatform.slack.comor contact support@wavesplatform.com they may be able to sort it for you. You can check that your waves are still generating using the below tool... http://dev.pywaves.org/lpos/ |
