Does anyone have the same issue? When I "Watch" DAO tokens my Mist stops synchronising. When I "Unwatch" it it synchronises as normal again . Repeated it many times along with restating the wallet. No luck -can't move my tokens anywhere.

Wow, traders only value DAO at less then their current assets? Anyone selling at the moment must have really weak hands or are just day trading. I guess that I have no choice but to HODL.

We're all holding DAO. Every one understood how valuable DAO in the future and so only those impatient enough will cry in the end. I would assume those big whales are also watching projects to vote.

There are ~1.2 billion DAO but exchange volume is only 12 million DAO. Everybody wait for first proposal. When will we see slock proposal for voting? https://daohub.org/proposals.html page is not working right now.

Supply is 1,172.78 million. There's no mining, this is all. Price is so high because the DAO owns 12m ether, and you can get ('split') 1 ether for 100 DAO's (until first proposal is accepted).

To see your token balance in MIST you will need to watch the token. In MIST click the "Contracts" text in the upper right hand corner, then scroll down to the "custom tokens" section. Press the "Watch Token" button, enter 0xbb9bc244d798123fde783fcc1c72d3bb8c189413 as the token contract address, name the token whatever you like (The ÐAΩ is a good choice), enter a symbol for the token (Ð or ÐAΩ would work), and lastly enter 16 as the "decimals of smallest unit". as far as the next agenda, log into the slack

DAO is a long term investment, i bought at 1.0 and will not sell it for a long time. When projects come, when media start to pump it it will reach the Moon, don't forget it's limited token, no more will be released, no inflation Exactly DAO is a long term investment like buying shares in a company. The profit and loss from any proposal accepted by the curator will be proportionally divided among the investors. Anyway, I am in for long term. Atleast two years before selling, even If I am at loss.... I agree. To be honest, part of me is hoping that it drops significantly below its ICO price for a reason I'm sure you can guess.

How much longer until this giant token burn? Ethereum is still up and dao is stagnant. That's going to be a lot of ethereum hitting the market. It's no longer a safe haven with such a high percentage absorbed by the dao. Could be wrong.

Now see balance with the contract thing in place. Last can keep track of them maybe next thing is to have options to spend or send or some wallet functions. Also how does one receive tokens from exchanges is it a matter of just buying them on exchange and using my ETH wallet address to send to?

This community makes no sense. ICOs which only have a promise and song go to the moon, but an ICO that holds almost 12 million ETH in the till now has a market cap less than the assets it holds. Are people afraid that the crowd is going to make a bunch of bad decisions shortly? Or is it that it takes over 40 days to split and redeem your ETH, so they see a liquidity problem?

To be honest this is early days yet and people moaning already from the get go ICO always have bumps and lumps that is fact. I do not see them having problems just people trying to dump so hard. And am wondering how people are putting their tokens on exchanges and trading all am seeing on most is IOU tokens unless am missing some step in taking form token to exchange.

I already moved the little bit of DAO tokens that I bought from Bittrex to my mist wallet. They are real, not IOU. I haven't tried the other direction, yet, and don't intend to. I'd rather get left holding the bag then sell my DAO at bargain basement prices.
