why doesnt the ANN sohw any information about total ammount of coins? premine ammount?

not that hard to put that info in the ANN ?

ANN already answers all of this.

The pool is up, I had a look at the daemon log files, and it seems that every now and then there is an error being thrown that is shutting down the daemon.

ERROR: PeerMiner : generated block is stale

I will see if I can dig into the code some to find that.  But that is what is shutting down the pool.
