According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I would advise you to use escrow because FE is risky and can get you scammed.

  • Always use escrow on the forum, preferably multisig
  • Never mix Crypto and reversable payment methods like Paypal
  • If it seems like too good a deal, it's probably stolen/carded/hacked
  • Don't keep large amounts on an exchange
  • Don't use a online wallet like Blockchain.info.  For smaller amounts use a local wallet like Electrum, cold storage for larger ones
  • Accounts can be freely traded on here, be careful who you trust
  • Always verify who you're trading with using a message on here.  Never send right over Skype/IRC

Do not use any exchange as wallet so never hoard coins on any of them. After you finish your trading, withdraw your coins somewhere safe (local wallet or at least one where you control private keys). If you are trading altcoins, always do proper research and dont listen ppl from trollbox (consider trading alts as gamble but be smart gambler who always have every possible fact about game).

Newbies uses web wallet whfch is really not that secure. Try to find a more suitable wallet for you like a desktop wallet hardware wallet , paper wallet or etc. A wallet whch you are the only person who has access to it's privatekey. Also most newbie invest in hyips and ponzi like it's actually a real investment well it's not. They are fraud and eventually they will run with your coins. Also if yo are tradig, don't go with the current hype that every coin is in. Trade coins that has a solid foundation not those coins that the price rise up pretty quickly and ended up as a pump and dump scam.

don't buy coin that are clearly shitcoin, like all those stff that are copy of another great coin and does not offer anything new

and especially do not buy asic altcoin, scrypt, x11/13/15, those are dumped hard by asic, and also do not invest in suspicious ico/heavy premined coin etc...

Better to save on a notepad all your password and identifiers on your diferrent wallets. For example is blockchain, you need to copy and save all the details so that if you forgot anything on it , you have a copy of it.

My mistake with yobit is that I bought few shitcoins with 1 satoshi then I failed to sell it again (forever)
I think yobit had to remove these kinds of altcoins from their system...

Your biggest mistake will be to listen to advice like this and then be left out of pocket, because you bought into a pump n dump scheme. There are currently a lot of ETH pumpers on this forum, trying

to pump the price and getting others to buy, so that they could sell at a profit. Just ignore this advice and do your own research and remember this forum is not a place for financial advice. Bitcoin is

the strongest Crypto currency out there and it has no central figure head to be attacked... this is where other Alt coins are vulnerable.  Tongue

The most common mistake done by a newbie is they start using their  bitcoin on gambling as they want to multiply their coins in a short time and gradually end up loosing everything, so it is recommended to stay away from gambling.

Yes this is worse than a spam, they have several topics related to ETH and this hype is based on ponzi,
for me to earn money somebody must buy at this price..
I believe the project have something unique and good, but this has nothing in common with pump behind it.

Take note on this and not only in Gambling but also on Ponzi Scheme or other HYIP programs. Scams are everywhere here, be cautious when your btc is involved. Transact with reputable member, better to use escrow in any transactions.

My one piece of advice would have to be: If it looks too good to be true, it probably is. As in, you're not going to be the 1 in a million who happened to invest in the next-big-thing at the right time so you're better off just sticking with 2-3 currencies and monitoring them in detail.

Don't jump into a signature campaign.  Allow some time to learn about the forum and bitcoin's before joining one.  So many hear of "easy" money and try to jump in one and have utter crap posts.  Your time being a low level is unique as you can learn a LOT about bitcoins and also about making a good post.

I personally waited till hero.  Looking back wish full member I would have joined one... but live and learn.  I think full member with it usually paying more is proper level to start joining a signature campaign.
