Im a beginner with electronic currencies and started using Yobit few days ago
I would like to know what types of common mistakes newbies make and what to avoid in early days

Regards

Common mistake of newbies here is joining HYIP sites and Investor-based games that is more likely to scam you within few days resulting to a loss of your coins.

Yeah and its nothing new as when I was a newbie even I invested in doubler site to double my coins quickly, but then I realised that I have been scammed, but I learnt from my mistake.

That has to be the biggest mistake i see constantly, people thinking other people will double their coins in 5 minutes...it sounds great until they run and just never come back, there is no purpose to think someone can double your coins faster than you can.

That's true but when you are really new to something then that mistakes are obvious to happen, may be the greediness comes into play and that disturbs everything.

Don't waste your time on faucets, because it's really waste your time and your earned so small. Always remember your wallet identifier, because many newbies forget about their wallet.
Better to save on a notepad all your password and identifiers on your diferrent wallets. For example is blockchain, you need to copy and save all the details so that if you forgot anything on it , you have a copy of it.
actually it is such a big and wast and complected website.  very difficult to understand i am studying it for such a long time but still i feel defficulties in some options. so haw a newbie can carry it. it really need a hard work and patient.

I think it is more important to actually read through the forums to determine what is the best information to take in and what you should learn from.  Never trust anyone is the best advise I can give anyone in these threads.

Yep, if a newbie stumbles upon an HYIP that has a really good offer, he might think that he just found a good way to make money. He might even think that it is how people make good money out of bitcoins. Without doing research, a newbie would surely fall victim into one of those HYIP sites. It's most likely that a newbie would take some money out of his pocket and invest it in a bitcoin doubler or other investment sites that offer quick ROI.

Yeah that is one of the common attitude of a newbie they want to earn a lot of money even they are just getting started and it cause of them to invest a lot of money to buy bitcoin and put it all on a HYIP investment site and after that most of them are just sitting and saying that it's for lifetime but they didn't they are caught on a ponzi scheme and after at least 1 month it will turn to scam and they will cry like a baby and blaming those sites but the real thing is it's their own fault Roll Eyes lol.

That's why many newbies are falling into the trick of investing to cloud mining sites, hyip's which are just ponzi schemes. Because they are not studying well about the thing that they are entering which is bitcoin.

I think a common mistake is not protecting the private keys. If you lose the private keys or they are not secure, you will lose your bitcoins.

i think that is the appropriat answer for the question. i think th most common mistake the newbie often made is that they do not care for their account security. they some time do not know about the private keys which often put them in trouble.

This isn't really a newbie mistake, but more of an overall stupidity issue...My first time using bitcoin, I printed a paper wallet and kept it all there.  Only way I'd lose the keys was if I lost the paper - not that difficult.  With digital wallets, the same mentality applies...  Smiley

Yes that's right , they only know how to use it not "how to secure and use for safe".
But since newbie only stores their bitcoin on online wallet , that's doesn't matter unless they are know about private key and dumbly share on public

Well I agree with you. When I was new I have runned into many of that and lost a lot of money there maybe 0.03 BTC that I made that time in faucets. Well I guess God is good so I got an opportunity to earn big via trading especially when I joined here, and now I can easily get 0.03 BTC even more.  Grin

Yeah and everyone  has made that mistakes but the good thing is to learn from our mistakes and make sure that we don't repeat same mistake again and again in future.

Notlist3d is pretty much right, dont jump into signature campaining if you are not simply  ready for it: u need to get decent rank first, and then you can start making some decent profits
And about mistakes: Dont gamble, always check the person which you trade/loan with etc.
Good luck buddy, get profit but dont be greedy thats the 1st rule

There are many mistakes a newbie can do with Bitcoin.
Like using a scam website that attracts with good offers, then do not pay you.
I advice you to avoid falling into the trap of these scams websites.

I think that the OP was asking what mistakes you are looking at when dealing with Yobits.  This is a great site and there is a lot to learn.  One of the first mistakes is not to think that because they are starting a new coin, you will get rich off of it.  Do not think you are going to get rich off of anything on BTC, unless you have a lot to invest.  Watch the market and make wise decisions based on your research.  If there was one specific trick or trip, everyone would be doing it..

The most common mistakes of newbies is to invest in ponzi, like cloud mining, hyips, doubler sites to multiply coins in quick time and above most common is to go for gambling.
