I agree they think that it is the only way of earning bitcoin. So, tendency they fall up to become a victim of ponzi. And as well as other type of scams like cloud mining. Because majority attracts them and they just think that it is right.

Ahoy there ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Im a beginner with electronic currencies and started using Yobit few days ago I would like to know what types of common mistakes newbies make and what to avoid in early days Regards I would say one of the most common mistakes causing investors to lose money is by believing things too easily. If the deal/investment sounds too good to be true, it probably is! Whenever in doubt, do your research online and seek some advice from the Bitcoin community on Reddit at bitcoin or btc. There are many helpful Bitcoiners out there who can help you out if you are unsure.

Well we can't blame them and it is really a bad mistake for them if they are already giving up that if they aren't getting bitcoin fast. There is no fast thing at all you need to work hard for it.

Here are my tips for a newbie 1)Dont fall on what you read from other crypto-gurus, instead read them, confirm them, watch the charts in other words do your homework 2)No one will share you for free(not even with fee xD) a incoming pump and dump, most common case is to make you buy from his walls 3)crypto is full of drama, so dont be emotional 4)dont risk what you cant afford to lose 5)Observe charts, upcoming coins etc

Everyone had this stage. Who wouldn't want to put some money into something that will make money for you without you doing any effort, anyway. Those who were scammed by those sites are likely to learn their lessons after 2 or 3 encounters. But those people who lost a lot of money from gambling wouldn't learn their lessons. They feel like they have the ability to recover all those losses like the people from the top of the charts.

I think the worst common mistakes of the newbies with Bitcoin's world is deposit in the HYIP and ponzi scheme sites, and also wasting their time in the low paying faucets.

The newbies must avoid the faucets because it's worthless, much better for them joining this forum and building their accounts, and then join the signature campaigns.

I totally agree with you. To be honest i did that things when i was a newbie because i don't really know what are the kind of investment, i just invest to a site if other bitcoin users does. In faucet, i agree also because most of the newbies now are being brainwashed that faucet is the best site to get free satoshi but they didn't know that they are not earning positive but a negative one and the only person who are earning positive is the faucet owner.

+1. Being in this forum would make them learn a lot of things. Faucets are just for those people who have literally no skill to offer. Those people who aren't capable of learning something new. I think the reason why newbies keep on doing faucets is because of the things that the faucet sites say and also because of the promoters posting a big amount of money and saying that he earned it solely from faucets. But the truth is, the electricity and internet bill would be higher than what he had earned from faucet sites.

Yeah, but i dont think that actually people who dont have any skills are doing faucets,i would rather say that people who dont know about any other good ways to earn btc without investments, becouse the still dont know how faucet is bad, comparing it to any other ways, like even signature campaining,on newbie rank.

Earning from faucets is not an mistake, as that is the only way to earn free bitcoin for a newbie, but over a period of time they can develop their skills and try to find better ways to earn.
