Bitcoin trading is hard, as the market change is so low you'll only make a decent amount of profit if you have a decent amount, like 20-100 BTC.

Another suggestion is to simply wait for new coins to pop out which you think has a good future base on its devs and the company backing them, invest to it. If they offer IPO/ICO, you may wanna try buying few and so you can get some earnings even with just few cents increase of price. I'm just not sure how much "very small amount" when you say how to start trading with a very small amount.  Grin but i believe you can still buy coins in IPO.

Bitcoin trading is hard, as the market change is so low you'll only make a decent amount of profit if you have a decent amount, like 20-100 BTC.

If your planing to do a every day trading than yes, we need lot of money but it is very risky because no one can predict the prices of any currency on daily basis. If your investing for long tern than no need of lot of investments but with small amount also just buy and keep it until prices appreciate to sell for profits. I'm doing same since last two years and so for made quite a decent profit but since last couple of months prices are not moving fast so not much profits. Hope this year will give us good profits for our bitcoin investments.

i think for newbies it is best to start from smaller markets like altcoin market because of the bigger changes and easier profit.

I think that newbies should stay far away from anything that has to do with altcoins. Newbies believe everything and are more likely to lose their money as they may believe in the "long term" plans that the "devs" of certain altcoins promise the cummunity. That's why it's always better for them stick with Bitcoin for investing till they understand the risks of "investing" in altcoins.

Most of the (new) altcoins are too much manipulated and it's very risky to invest there, but some popular altcoins like ETH DOGE or any other is worth investing but not always as the exchange rate changes too often especially when the bitcoin price crashes or increases.

first of all if you're new, you should find a sites that lets you trade small amount of bitcoins, because you probably don't have lots of money to start, and like everyone says, sell only when expensive and buy only when cheap otherwise you will lose money

i  am a newbie also in trading , i trade altcoins, i started at 0.01 btc and so far  so good i am gaining small profits. in my understanding about trading is buy low sell high , choose  an alts that you think that have the potential to pump, doing some research may help before you buy.

yes altcoins is great way to start trading since bitcoin trading may be too hard for newbies

but you still should get some bitcoin to buy other altcoins, and buy while any coin is cheap and sell when they rise,  and don't panic and sell your coins while they're cheap

What makes you think you can multiply your money if you know nothing about trading? You are more likely to lose everything to the big whales who love making profit off guys like you.

to start trading i think the best way is with altcoins it is easy and the price is not stable.
but you need to make analyse of market and know the variablity of price in one month before to know when to buy and when to sell.
and  like that you will make a good profit.

very important, probably most important, step to start trading with small amount of money is to find site that lets you do that, because main ones usually won't let you buy/sell small amounts of

and then just keep eye on some cryptos and check their price each day, buy when cheap sell when expensive

As what I've said before, do your research before buying coins. Also, I recommend YoBit as they allow relatively small amount of trades. Buy low, sell high. Also, try to study more about cryptocurrency trading, on how to predict the markets, and its different aspects. You can try searching for blogs about trading and watching live trades before actually trading.

to trade with small amounts(probably because you are newbie) you have to find site that allows you to trade small amounts, because main sites that are very popular, well i don't think that they will let you to trade 2 or 3 $ only, they probably let you to trade large amounts only
