The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

well, let me sum up my experiences with lykke.

1. i bought shares during the first ICO. so my shares are now worth almost the same. i payed CHF 0.05 per share. but the btc price has changed since then, i lost in terms of BTC.
2. i was able to deposit and withdraw BTC.
3. i was able to buy tokens.
4. i was able to withdraw tokens.

but the handling with the wallet on mobile devices is really a pain in the ass. thats why i wont use the service until a client/wallet for desktops is released. there is a webwallet but you cant trade only with your mobile device.

Do you still have some shares or operate in oanda?

So is this project officially dead? Price has completely collapsed and hasn't recovered. You cant even buy the token anywhere and the app doesn't even work for US citizens. Is anyone still working on this project?

Hi CryptoGod27, as you see the ANN thread is updated almost daily so I would say it's far from dead! I invite you to please check some recent blog articles and news on the current status and roadmap for the upcoming months. You can also subscribe to our Reddit or Telegram group where Lykke's community is most active.

Hi dunchy, yes indeed, you can withdraw fiat via SWIFT. You can check the list of currently unavailable jurisdictions at the (bottom of the) following link: https://www.lykke.com/cp/wallet-fees-and-limits

Hello,

I have a problem, After an upgrade of the Android app the app asked for a password of "credential storage" (In spanish version of app Contraseña de almacenamiento de credenciales), I tried to introduce all the passwords that I wrote down on paper when creating my account and none is accepted.

maybe you need the seed words to restore your wallet. the password and the username you used to login could not be enough in this case.

i hope you have the seed.

The project is not dead .... the exchange works perfectly and better than other exchanges with higher volumes, but unfortunately almost no one knows the currency and the Lykke exchange.

I do not know if it takes better and more aggressive marketing or the listing on other exchanges .... something however at the level of sustainability must be done!

Lykke implements segwit addresses for LTC
Litecoin segwit addresses have been implemented in Lykke Wallet. This update entails a change in your LTC depositing addresses. Make sure to check your wallet and use the updated Segwit address for deposit transactions from now on. Legacy addresses will remain available, but Lykke recommends to use new address format for LTC transactions.

Segwit address implementation for Litecoin blockchain allowed us to reduce LTC withdrawal fees from 0.005 to 0.001 LTC.

More information at: https://www.lykke.com/company/news/2018-04-ltc-segwit-addresses

Lykke to list Musereum Token (ETM) on the Lykke Exchange
Lykke and Musereum, a platform designed to automate transaction processing in the music industry and to tokenize intellectual property rights in music, will add ETM token to the list of tradable assets on the Lykke Exchange.

ETM, a native payment token of the Musereum ecosystem, can be used for transactions within the system: service provider payments, license payments, royalty distribution, and music IP rights ownership represented by the second-level music tokens (similar to the ETH mechanics in second-level Dapp tokens). IP rights sharing and distribution, one of the key mechanics in Musereum ecosystem, will also be fueled by ETM tokens.

“Music industry has one of the most complex intellectual property rights rules and practices. The market power is concentrated in the hands of large labels and content distributors. Blockchain technology has a potential to disrupt the way we register and transmit music rights,” stated Sergey Ivliev, Lykke Co-founder. “That’s why we are pleased to collaborate with Musereum, that aims not only to tokenize music, but also to solve the everlasting problem of IP market.”

“We are proud of our collaboration with Lykke,” said Artem Abaev, CEO and co-founder of Musereum. “Although our scope is limited to the music industry, at its core, Musereum is a legal tech project. Lykke has the necessary expertise and diligence to be not a mere exchange for our tokens, but a substantial partner in building a transparent and compliant ecosystem – that is why our strategy is to use Lykke as a gateway to participate in early transactions with our music assets. We also strongly support the ideology of open blockchain marketplace that Lykke professes – after all, our whole system is built around a nexus of such marketplaces.”

ETM token trading on the Lykke Exchange begins on April 26th, 2018.

Indeed because of different factors this sector has been lacking in development. At the moment Lykke is conducting a market research study and looking to hire a Marketing director which will be great assets moving forward in this area.

If you check their roadmap is on of the last things will do, I think they should enter trading sites from now and not waiting for much longer.

This is a very unfair battle. Bitcoin will always be the very initiator of the crypto currency world. The pillar of the new world that lays ahead of us.
Ethereum on the other hand is the very much needed help Bitcoin it needed to expand it's dominancy.
