1st day of the event has ended and we raised 2,280,099 LKK which is 114,005 CHF. That is 8% of total coins available which is a great start.

Total investment so far 1,590,000 CHF Disclosed funding rounds: 600'000 CHF, initial seed investment 2015 500'000 CHF, second round at 15M CHF valuation, which corresponds to 0.012 CHF per LKK Seed investors are also mentioned here "Olsen founded Lykke in Zurich and received initial seed funding in 2015. In May 2016, Lykke closed a second seed round where the new shareholders included angel investors Marco Brockhaus and Carlo Koelzer, founding partner of 360T’s Group Executive Board and member of Deutsche Börse Group Management Committee." http://www.financemagnates.com/cryptocurrency/interview/blockchain-will-absorb-the-world-of-finance-richard-olsen-lykke-interview/(360T is a forex platform acquired by Deutsche Boerse for 725M€) Placement_Memorandum http://lykke.com/Lykke_Corp_Placement_Memorandum.pdfPress release: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1mwmbQL-PhoIQ0clLp2npOeefZKA6VaMJMJQ9juSJ2q0/edit#heading=h.gjdgxs

1 LKK is currently: Buy at 0.014 CHF Sell at 0.01 CHF
Yes, that was in March. People had and continue to have the opportunity to get involved. There are 15 full-time employees and many contributors.

I really like the project. But unfortunately I believe 65M as a market cap is a lot for this project. Already the price went from 0.005 ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T6piZnwgqM0 31 minutes PowerPoint) to 0.014 (March) to 0.05 now Good luck Team

What I would like to know is: How dependent is Lykke on Bitcoin? I ask because I always think that it's possible that Bitcoin might lose his leading position in years or, worse, maybe even hard fork into two like Ethereum did. Could Lykke use theoretically any other Blockchain?
And what exactly is the business-model? Or more directly: How to make money?
By the way: First when I saw this I thought it may could be a perfect fit with Factom.

Hello. Will LKK be tradable asset on exchanges like poloniex or bittrex? If yes - when ? If no - why? Thank you Good question. Unlikely in the short-term, but technically feasible. Lykke is its own exchange and earns fees on the spread, not commissions. It implements currently Bitcoin ColoredCoins, so any wallet which scans Bitcoin blockchain for OP_RETURN can understand the transactions taking place. You can find much longer writeup here: https://lykke.com/Lykke_Outlook.pdfIn theory other exchanges can implement ColoredCoins too. I'm not aware of any (metaco.com was a planned exchange as far as I know). Lykke targets eventually the entire Foreign exchange market which is much larger. The founder and CEO has build one of the largest Foreign exchange brokers in the world Oanda. Oanda does 5 billion $ volume a day ( http://fairreporters.net/economy/largest-forex-brokers-by-volume-in-2015/). LKK will be tradable only at Lykke Exchange, which is going to be better (nicer, more secure) then centralized trusted exchanges like Poloniex or Bittrex Edit: slight corrections.

The team is actively looking into Ethereum, as per the business plan. Yes, in theory any chain that supports issued assets could do. Openasset and Bitcoin decision was made at the very beginning, and integration takes time, so its not a goal to support any chain. Business model is stated above as earning money on the spread, not commissions. Lykke can act as a market-maker. This part is also under very active development. You should find more documents on the website. If not, it will be good to have more questions in this direction - I'll forward them to the experts on the team. See this academic paper, e.g. https://lykke.com/city/_media/golubdupuisolsen.pdfFactom - not currently under consideration but thanks for the suggestion. Publishing prices on a blockchain makes sense.
