By mining, I was thinking about cloud mining.
How about Ether?

Ethereum price suffers of a strong change in a price.... and I think it can be a really coins that could compete against btc. No I think invest in ETH, is not actually the best choice. With this value you can invest in some site... betting casino or similar.... you can run a good business!!! True, as because of some sudden price hike in Ether but there was no reason, everyone just dumped it proving it to be just another alt which was just used to make money and nothing else... Entering into alts ain't a better option at all, but instead, you can go for buying more coins and saving them for the future so that you may sell them in profit when the prices will jump when halving takes place... |

I'd say invest something like 50% in Lisk (launch end of april).
Indeed, this could be good for sure, I have no doubts about that because the fact is that if you invest now you will most likely gonna make profit by the halving also so that is a good thing in my opinion. |

I've finally got around $20k to invest in long-term. No, unfortunately I cannot put this on a bank to get like 10-15% per year, I'd need something way more good.
What would you recommend? Mining? Other crypto?
Investors, please get me some cool ideas.

well if you want to do something with them, then you should try bitcoin trading, it is easy way to earn profit, just it needs some time to understand how everything works or you can just buy bitcoins and keep them in your wallet, and just wait for price rise, this is very popular way to earn profit, because it is very easy |

Maybe for OP $20K is just a small part of his total money that he is planning to use for investment purposes. For some people $100K is just playing money, while for some one else $500 can be a lot. There are huge differences. |

well if you really can't put them into bank to get profit each month or year, then you should try to buy bitcoins and do same thing, just keep them in your wallet or try investing in gambling sites, they are kinda risky, so you shouldn't go all in, but as far as i know they are really profitable, you can try them |

I would avoid any alt-coins. I don't know the future either, but I have seen them come and go. Only bitcoin has had continued success. If you had asked this last year I suspect a lot of people would have suggested doge coin. Ever heard of it? Exactly.

Investing is not always the right choice but if you want to invest you must not invest all your money in Bitcoin because if the value goes down than you will have nothing.
It is also important to save some money so you will have always money for later and that is nice.

congratulation for your achievment,its nice to got $20k. i suggest you to put it into big and long term investement like build some store or site that have static profitable like gambling site or invest on exchange,or maybe you can try to build startup related bitcoin,its good for bitcoin development and we all know bitcoin have good future. |

Its a high probability. But should be a small disclaimer that nothing is guarantee, but I`m sure it would be a profit. Also dont expect right after the halving the price to jump so quick, it can also come in periods of weeks or maybe months. |

You can make a small investment or something to earn some more money and that would be nice |

It is a lot of money and the best thing that I can say is that you have to just hold it and that would be safe and nice for yourself otherwise you will lose it. You can make a small investment or something to earn some more money and that would be nice If its mandatory make a very small investment in the altcoins as few of them are giving good profit. With those remaining amount contact a bulk dealer and buy to profit after halving. |

1. You can invest in multiple gambling websites.
2. Investing altcoins what could be very profitable if you are lucky.
3. Just by investing in the bitcoin, for a long or short term.

I've invested some of my bitcoin on lisk, i bought when ico was held, and now i have printed my private key then keep it safe, i'll be waiting for two years i think the price will be skyrocket like etherum hoping my dreams came true |
